AUSTRALIAN MANCHESTER 2010 Judge: Mr Albert Wight AUSTRALIAN JUDGE MANCHESTER 10 Australian Terriers PD (1) 1 Stoddart’s Millvalley Blue Ensign, bl/t of just 6 months & quite a character, absolutely full of himself on the move, cocky, brash & bold, nice head, good ears, enough neck, quite a good length & ample spring of rib for age. JD (1) A. PGD (3) 1 RBD, Jones’ Silhill Blue Velvet from Wyeaton, see is litter brother to the BOB. This blue dog is most attractive in head, lovely eyes, well placed & mobile ears, ribs well sprung & carry well back, the loin firm, hindquarters well muscled, showed a determined stride as he circled the ring; 2 Nash-Smith’s Iandor Mr Tambourine Man, rather nice red dog, all male head of good length, well shaped eyes, good reach of neck, so well ribbed, in good coat his action pleases in profile but he is just that bit wide in front coming towards you; 3 Stoddart’s Millvalley The Exciseman. OD (2,1) 1 BOB, McCourt’s Ch Silhill Red Dragon, red with bags of style & so light footed as he struts his stuff on the move, lovely size, extremely good head which is a decent length, eyes a good colour & shape & bright in expression, blessed with neat ears which never seemed to be down, moved with such self belief. PB (2) 1 BP, Simpkins’ Gowabunga Gypsy Queen of Iandor, thought her quite a promising red, decent length of body, such good ribcage & supple loin, very nice head, in good coat, moved out so purposefully for one so young; 2 Jones’ Wyeaton Calypso Magic, blue baby of just 6 months & thought the ring was for cavorting in! Not a nerve in her body, on the tip toe of expectation seeking mischief & must be quite fun at home. Nice head pattern, good neck, well bodied, once ring trained, she could do well. JB (0). PGB (2) 1 RBB, Simpkins’ Iandor She’s Hot To Go, liked the head, eyes & expression on this bitch, felt she was the better size, in good body & so outgoing on the move, scores in a well arched neck & the firmest of backlines; 2 Skelton’s Millvalley Poosie Nancy, this blue was just the opposite of 1, quite reserved not at all outgoing & looking like she would sooner be lying on a velvet cushion somewhere than stuck in as showring. Nice to go over on the table but the Aussie bravado was sadly missing. OB (4,2) 1 BB, Stoddart’s Ch Millvalley Red Ruby, worthy ch who was a comfortable winner, has a look of good breeding, lovely to go over on the table, such a beautiful head & expression, well carried ears, really good ribcage, neck & backline, in good bloom. Disappointed me on the move as she decidedly stepped short, for whatever reason. But a worthy ch; 2 Skelton’s Brimartz Catch Me If You Can, this blue really out moved 1 in profile but she is a little too short coupled so the real Aussie outline is missing. Well ribbed, in good body & coat, head was a pleasure to handle.
