AUSTRALIAN SKC MAY 09 Judge(s) MR P WILKINSON DCC SILHILL RED DRAGON (MRS S MCCOURT) Australian Terriers PD (0). JD (2) 1 McCourt’s Silhill Red Dragon, 12 months stallion of a dog, super head, lovely dark eye, powerful jaws, long neck, clean front, good leg & feet, very well ribbed up, Al condition, strong well muscled hindquarters, well carried undocked tail, moved sound, lovely profile, in beautiful coat condition. CC & BOB; 2 Stoddart’s Millvalley Rorie More, red, nice head & expression, good bodylines, good hindquarter, moved well. Preferred the length of neck & carriage of 1. LD (4) 1 Stoddart’s Millvalley The Exciseman, b/t, nice type & size, good head, eye & underjaw, in very good body weight, moved well. Coat not at its best, I hope it clears; 2 Eardley’s Millvalley Rantin’ Robin at Sherex, very stylish red, litter brother to 1, reminds me of his great sire, quality although just need a little more body condition then will trouble the best & one I will watch. Must have a bright future; 3 Simpkins’ Iandor Love Me Tender. OD (2) 1 Jones’ Silhill Limited Edition at Wyeafon, b/t, very nice type & size, nice shaped head, lovely eye, used his ears well, good outline, well made hindquarters, moved out well, very well presented. Just lost out on the CC to his son. Very surprised this dog does not carry his title; 2 McCourt & Eardley’s Ch Silhill Tufty with Sherex, red, top sized dog in wonderful bloom, super presentation, many breed virtues, great profile, moved very well, showing well. I went for the size of winner in this class. PB (2) 1 Jones’ Wyeafon Mystique, b/t, lovely youngster, very sound, showing well, steady temperament, good outline, good legs & feet. BP; 2 Bell’s Belyndi Chance In A Million, red baby not as mature as 1. Nice eye, correct bite, level topline, moved OK. JB (0). LB (3,1) 1 Simpkins’ Iandor She’s Hot To Go, well balanced, nice head & eye, good underjaw, good neck & topline, well developed quarter, moved well, kept her shape on the move; 2 Wilding’s Spiteminter Extravert, b/t, smaller all round than 1, level topline, well placed ears. Would like stronger muzzle & underjaw, moved OK. OB (5,1) 1 Stoddart’s Ch Millvalley Diva, b/t, quality bitch, good all round, good showgirl, sound mover, super expression. CC; 2 McCourt & Bartolomio’s Ch Silhill Sweet Pea, top drawer girl in tip-top form, pushed so hard for top honours, great profile, a credit to her owners & handler, she made for great competition.
