AUSTRALIAN JUDGE SOUTH WALES 09 DCC CH SILHILL RED DRAGON (MRS S MCCOURT) Along with lots of other breeds at this Show, the entry was low, but I was pleased with the overall quality of all the exhibits entered and shown under me. PD (0) JD (0) PGD (1) 1. Jones’ Silhill Blue Velvet From Wyeadfon. Attractive young dog with time on his side, alert and active and using ears well to produce typical outgoing expression, well constructed front, well sprung ribs, coat coming on well, moved free and with ease. Res Dog CC. LD (1) 1. Eardley’s Millvalley Rantin’ Robin at Sherex. Nice outline but still to mature fully, will improve picture with more body and coat, moved out well and carried tail to advantage. OD (1) 1. McCourt’s Ch Silhill Red Dragon. Not surprised at title in front of name, quality young dog, good head and skull carried on graceful neck, giving impression of balance and strength in proportion, good length of rib, well muscled thighs producing drive and power, tight well padded feet, in good coat and well presented throughout, litter brother to PG winner. Dog CC. PB (0) JB (1.1) Abs PGB (1) 1. Thompson’s Wyeafon Poledancer. This young bitch carried herself very well producing nice outline when moving, although not as confident standing. LB (1.1) Abs OB (4.1) 1. McCourt & Bartolomio’s Ch Silhill Sweet Pea. Beautifully balanced and proportioned bitch and most pleasing to go over, liked overall shape of head with good eyes and ears, well made body, in best of coats, confident and outgoing, good parallel and free movement. Bitch CC and BOB. 2. Stoddart’s Ch Millvalley Red Ruby. Worthy champion and lots of pleasing attributes, however not always using her ears and not always wanting to put that extra effort in. Res Bitch CC. 3. Jones’ Wyeafon Red Hot N Sassy. Max King (Judge)
