Slightly sloping croup. Very good coat; 3 Golding’s Ashbrae Fell Man at Beaconpike. PD (9,2) 1 Larner’s Hawcoat Blue Bertte, well balanced, lovely head, deep body & strong back, good angulations, nice tail, excellent coat, good mover; 2 Irving’s Dandyhow Beeline, attractive puppy, beautiful head & well carried ears. Just preferred hindquarters & croup on 1. Good quality coat, sound mover; 3 Haydon & Gibbings’ Earthtaw Albury. JD (11) 1 Roderick’s Barterhound Twister, lovely young dog with a very good head, good angulations & topline, lovely coat, in super condition to win this strong class; 2 Hunt’s Ethlencoral Pip of Ottaswell, lovely well balanced dog, good head, nice head, very good neck & shoulders, good legs & feet. Just a little short in coat; 3 Regan’s Digmoor Aces High. YD (9) 1 Dean’s Cedarhill Authorized, well balanced quality dog, nice head, lovely ears, very good front & topline, lovely coat & condition, super hindquarters, good mover; 2 Davis’ Hesslemere Hi Karate, very nice head, nice deep body, good angulations, just a little loose at elbows. Nice coat; 3 Dean’s Digmoor Captain Rook by Tyrian. GD (4) 1 Morton-Shaw’s Fehmarn Reap The Harvest, strong head, heavy in ears, nice hard coat. A little short; 2 Woolrich’s Mansergh Song Thrush, nice dog, handles quite well on the table but shows without enthusiasm. Very good coat; 3 Baird’s Dowgri Daredevil. PGD (6) 1 Robbins’ Kyscafter Emrys, nice head, would prefer darker eyes. A fraction short in body length. Nice coat, shows well; 2 Anscombe’s Tufterslodge Walnut at Orangebox, nice head & general conformation, short coat; 3 Jenkins’ Badgerbeck Felix. LD (20,1) 1 Harrison’s Acheslei Torus, quality dog with a lovely head, very nicely made with a nice body & very pleasing in shoulders, good angulations in rear, corract coat. RCC; 2 Johnson & Williams’ Quarryway Dill, very attractive dog in super condition, lovely expression, nice topline, good legs & feet, moved well; 3 Peacock’s Ragatam Harris. OD (13) 1 Clark’s Ch Gameway Kiwi, super dog who I found truly workmanlike in appearance, wonderful head, absolutely sound all round with good angulations, moved soundly & has a super coat. CC & BOB; 2 Dean’s Ch Stineval Acerola with Tyrian, quality dog, beautiful head, correct chest, good topline, strong quarters, very good coat texture, moved well; 3 Harrison’s Iacheslei Taum. MPB (13) 1 Green’s Didillybods Forest Hope, promising puppy, lovely head, nice body, good mover but got a little tired at the end in this large class; 2 Watson & Kenna’s Mascani Daisy at Cynetkoy, promising baby, nice & ears, very alert, nice coat; 3 Thomas’ Benattivo Gem Stone for Daluce. PB (17) 1 Larner’s Hawcoat Sweet Fairy, promising, well balanced puppy, lovely head & ear, well angulated, very good coat; 2 Larner & Lumbard’s Hawcoat Starina, sound balanced puppy with a good front. A little thin in muzzle. Lovely temperament, good coat; 3 Peacock’s Ragatam Jewel. JB (18,2) 1 Wilson’s Lorrivale Lerryn of Olderhill, very attractive bl/t, nice shape to win this very strong class, excellent head, good topline & tail, very good angulations, sound mover, should do well; 2 Godefroid’s Hartswelin Far Away, lovely bitch in super condition, very good head & ears, nice angulations, very good coat, moved well; 3 Southam’s Gameway Margarita at Southash. YB (14,2) 1 Small’s Badgerbeck Tree Pipit at Tilmoray, nice bl/t with a lovely head & ears, good conformation, lovely hard coat; 2 Fulker’s Gameway Set And Match, a size smaller, very feminine bitch with a nice head & good ears, good angulations, good coat, showed very well; 3 Taylor’s Vallemoss Vera at Foxthorn. GB (11,1) 1 G Set And Match; 2 Norris’ Cast A Spell over Brookbank, nice bitch with very good ears, just a little thinner in muzzle. Good angulations, very good coat; 3 Stockley’s Rhozzum Keynote with Foxfactor. PGB (12,2) 1 Johnson & Williams’ Quarryway Sorrel, nice, sound, hard coated female with an attractive head; 2 Holmes’ Trixdale Twix at Bimandi, good conformation, very sound, lovely head & expression. Just a little short in coat. BP; 3 Tuffin’s Oatberry Vino Vita. LB (16,2) 1 Fraser & Butler’s Wagtail Lass via Ycart, nice quality bitch with a lovely expression, well balanced & very sound, beautiful condition, moved well. RCC as she appealed to me in most details & on good form; 2 Godefroid’s Hartswelin She’s Magic, attractive bitch, lovely head & good angulations. Just a little softer in topline. Good coat & moved well; 3 Girling’s Benattivo Mulberry. OB (15,5) 1 Pickering’s Ch Picer Bright Idea, a real eyecatcher with a beautiful head & a very typical Border expression, super front & angulations where so many failed in my opinion, nice body & proportions, shown in great condition & good coat. CC; 2 Axelsson & Clark’s Sw Ch Rockamore Limelight, truly workmanlike bitch, beautiful head, sound front & lovely hindquarters, beautiful coat. Just seemed to lose a little interest at the very end; 3 Fraser & Butler’s Blue Tutu via Ycart. SIV JERNHAKE |
