BULL MINIATURE CRUFTS 09 BULL TERRIER (MINIATURE) Judge(s): Mrs V Allenden MINIATURE BULL JUDGE CRUFTS 09 Miniature Bull Terriers VD (1) 1 Goodwin’s Spitewinter Salesman, 9 years br/w, looking well, good mouth & balanced body. He has been underused as a stud dog as his eyes are still OK & his movement is fair. PD (0). JD (2) 1 Clark’s Grandopera Carbon Neutral, this br/w dog is stunning. I know that he is big but his quality is such that he is forgiven that. Great head, good reach of neck, well laid shoulders, level topline, tail well set on, moved well, he seemed to float over the ground, covering it well. I did look hard for something better than him a little smaller but I could not find it. CC & BOB; 2 Goodwin’s Ready To Rumble with Spitewinter, very nice r/w dog of correct size. His movement is not of the best & unfortunately his mouth is not his fortune but a good sized little dog. PGD (4) 1 Hearne, Singleton & Patterson’s Warbonnet Galetia, r/w, plenty of bone & substance, moved fairly well, good mouth; 2 Cartwright’s Badlesmere Buzzin Boycie, white, good mouth, well filled head, well balanced but not quite as good as 1; 3 Mierau’s DJ vom Emkental, lovely tiny b/br/w. This very neat & tidy dog does not have the down face of the other two & unfortunately his mouth is not correct. LD (7) 1 Feuze’s Anirella’s Prime Minister, this br/w dog was small & well balanced, good mouth, moved well, a nice sort; 2 Taylor’s Seayess First Night, large b/br/w, well balanced for his size, his mouth is correct, moved fairly well; 3 Vickers’ Edgar Wilde from Duvessa, this white dog is oversized but that would not have counted had he not also had an incorrect bite. A nice dog nonetheless. OD (5) 1 Vickers’ Duvessa Red Cloud, this solid r/w has an excellent down face with good mouth, he has a cobby body & moved with drive. RCC; 2 Phillips’ Baisey’s Blanc Du Blanc of Bullyon, white, ticked coat. Larger than 1 but a good specimen, moved with verve; 3 Jackson’s Seayess First Lord, br/w, left the ring without waiting for me to do a report. GCD (2,1a) 1 Knight’s Tsornin Tsilver Lion, a little stuffy but moved with drive. VB (0). PB (2) 1 Chapman’s Grandopera Global Warming at Delektabul, r/w, over the measure but a very elegant bitch. Would like a little more bone & substance all round. Movement adequate. BP; 2 Haycock’s Morhar Allspice, smaller br/w, good bone & substance but her movement was a little erratic & her mouth is not her fortune. JB (4,2a) 1 Wiles’ Adderswood Vyvyan for Arcazy, br/w, good mouth & moved well; 2 Shaw’s Badlesmeren Beeswax, this small white is a little stuffy in the neck & does not quite have the movement of 1. PGB (6) 1 Schmidt’s Urmel vom Kaiserstuhl, elegant white bitch a little light all round, good head, nice down face, moved well; 2 Oder’s Potsu De Notsu Amazing Asisha, b/br/w has not the down face of 1 otherwise she could have won this class, moved well; 3 Hart’s Albermarbull’s Silver Touch, this f/br/w is a little on the chunky side & did not move as well as the others. LB (8,1) 1 Salewski-Miechen’s Bumblebee of Slanting Shore, this br/w bitch has a good head with strong down face, good bite, moved well with drive, very elegant bitch. RCC; 2 Foster’s Badlesmere Buzzin About, white bitch who was a little short on the leg & has a stuffy neck, excellent head with good bite, moved well; 3 McGregor’s Bullypins Millima of Merlindan, dark br/w with good head & reach of neck, moved well, a little light in frame for my taste. OB (5) 1 Cox’s Ir Ch Duvessa Red River, r/w small compact bitch, good head with correct mouth, well set on ears which she used to good effect, good forechest, nice bone all round, moved well. CC; 2 Clark’s Transcend Racing Diamond for Grandopera, not quite the head of 1 but an excellent white bitch nonetheless, has very good dark pigmentation, moved & was presented well; 3 Dance’s Decadance Dixy Liberty Bell, white, this elegant little bitch moved & showed well but was just pipped all round by 1 & 2. GCB (0). VALERIE ALLENDEN
