MINIATURE BULL WELSH KENNEL CLUB 09 Judge: Mrs F Somerfield MINIATURE BULL JUDGE WELSH KC 09 Miniature Bull Terriers JD (2,1a) 1 Monaghan, Dobbin & Van Eck’s Debully Enter Sandman, excellent r/w, lovely head & eyes, well made, good body, bone, legs & feet, in very good coat & condition, moved & showed well. BP & RCC. LD (2,1) 1 Cartwright’s Badlesmere Buzzin Boycie, showy white, typical head, good strong jaw, nice eyes, well bodied. Could be better in shoulders. Well muscled quarters. Little restricted in movement. OD (5) 1 Presland & Vincent’s Ch/Ir Ch Badlesmere Brabazon in Kofyn, beautifully balanced white, good head, well bodied, pleasing front, legs & feet, good neck & topline, splendid hindquarters, in superb hard condition, very good mover. I wish he were a little smaller but one can’t have everything. CC & BOB; 2 Clark’s Grandopera Carbon Neutral, showy brindle, taller than 1 & not just as pleasing in head. Good neck, shoulders & topline, well coupled, moved out well, active & responsive; 3 Shaw’s Badlesmere Blackmail. PB (5,1) 1 Whittaker’s Wengormick Petite Lady, very typical white, good neck, shoulders & topline, nice head with good down face, moved & showed well; 2 Presland & Vincent’s White Eyes & Legless in Kofyn, was a slightly better size but 1 had the edge on head & is firmer. Good body & rib for age, good thighs, showed sensibly, sound mover; 3 Chapman’s Badlesmere Belakane at Delektabul. JB (1) 1 Ensell’s Eredon Waltzing Matilda at Minimayhem, showy, sensible white, good for body, over the loin & croup, nice hindquarters. Could be better in shoulders. Good downface with nice strength in jaw. PGB (3,1) 1 Peakin’s Bulliebompas Da Bomb at Byzantine, br/w, typical head, nice neck & shoulder, well made hindquarters. Could be shorter coupled & falls off a little over the croup; 2 Smith’s Badlesmere Be Lucky, good bodied br/w but carrying too much weight especially over her shoulders. Good croup & hindquarters, pleasing head type. LB (3) 1 Foster’s Badlesmere Buzzin About, it was good to see a real Miniature of such good type, good head & eyes, powerful jaws, well bodied, short coupled, nice over the croup & hindquarters, moved typically & jauntily. Could be a little better in shoulders & front. CC, her third; 2 Chapman’s Grandopera Global Warning at Delektabul, striking r/w, showed well, pleasing head with nice downface, good neck, well bodied. Not just as well coupled & could be better in pasterns & feet. In nice condition; 3 Wiles’ Adderswood Vyvyan for Arcazy. OB (5) Difficult class to judge, again I rewarded ones who looked as if they met the size limit. 1 Cartwright’s Black Mountains Bow, bl/br/w of good size, full of life, balanced in outline, as fit & hard as possible, head has downface but could be better filled. Good eyes & expression, nice front & hindquarters. RCC; 2 Shaw’s Badlesmere Beeswax, very nice small white but lacks a little balance between her excellent body, rib & brisket & her length of leg. Strong well muscled hindquarters. Little soft in topline; 3 Hemstock & Rowe’s Adderswood Catt of Jolihem. FERELITH SOMERFIELD (Judge)
