CAIRN BOSTON 2010 Judge(s) BRENDA M SHANNON BD CH NONCOM INETT TU WINNIT WITH CARRADINE JW (MISS D H & MRS R A INETT & HARRISON) Cairn Terriers PD (3,2a) 1 Inett’s Crackaway Jack, I loved this nice sized attractive 8 months r/br, excellent mouth with big teeth, good forechest & standing well forward, moved around the ring with drive, coat of good texture, showed & presented in excellent condition. BP, PG1 & RBPIS. JD (2,1) 1 Shopland’s Cherrycrack Blackadder, pleasing gr/br who is maturing well, very masculine head with dark eye, good stop & neat ears, good reach of neck, nice outline, tailset & when focused moved out well. RBD. PGD (4) 1 King & Leighton’s Carradine Night Listener at Harkinleigh, impressive gr/br with typical expression, a tad overweight but well constructed, moved steadily around the ring, level topline, handled & showed well; 2 King & Leighton’s Carradine Maybe The Moon at Harkinleigh, litter brother to 1, smaller all round, another well handled, steady mover; 3 Parkin’s Roachdee Mystery Of The Full Moon. OD (2) 1 Inett & Harrison’s Ch Noncom Inett Tu Winnit with Carradine, I gave him BPIS at the JCTC open, now a champion, wheaten/br shown in good coat, head to die for, dark points, good stop, dark eye, good mouth, super expression, wonderful temperament, as ever presented in tip-top condition, doesn’t disappoint on the table, moved with drive to win BOB; 2 Parkin’s Roachdee Mystery Of The Full Moon, red with dark points making an attractive head & expression, deep stop, good mouth, steady mover. Needs firmer handling. Nice boy. PB (2,1) 1 Inett’s Carradine Come On Irene, 8 months dark brindle, litter sister to PD winner. Not as mature or confident but lots to like. A lovely head, coat & expression, good prospect. JB (2,1) 1 Parkin’s Roachdee Toffee Crisp, light red, lovely head, good mouth, nice size, looks good when standing. Needs to be schooled in movement. All round nice bitch. PGB (3) 1 Byrne’s Little Miss Tonka, this wheaten bitch moves & handles well, is lovely to go over on the table, excellent spring of rib, good mouth with big strong teeth, level topline, good tailset, shown in well presented good harsh coat; 2 Burgin’s Noncom Lucy Locket, another wheaten but smaller than 1, well constructed, attractive head & expression. Close decision but lost out on movement & showmanship; 3 Powell’s Noncom Mad Madam Mimm at Rosenez. OB(4) 1 King, Leighton, Inett & Harrison’s Curtisey Foreign Account with Carradine, I love this super headed attractive gr/br, not overdone in any way, excellent forechest, good front & strong rear aiding in a lovely free movement, keeping her level topline as she goes. BB; 2 Clarke’s Conundrum Sweeter For Me for Lentrica, super conditioned, very attractive, well presented gr/br showgirl, smaller all round to 1 but in proportion, lovely to go over, moved with drive, a very close decision. Just preferred 1 for type. RBB; 3 Burgin’s Noncom Miss Hat He Chewed.
