FOX SMOOTH JUDGE DARLINGTON 09

Smooth Fox Terriers

With a breed club ch show being staged the following day with CCs it was always going to be difficult to get any sort of an entry. Under normal circumstances its hard for a non-specialist to pull entries without this sort of clash. However I thank those exhibitors who did give an entry, seven more to add on.

P (2)

1 Ketley & Gash’s Migley Eileen at Enjakay, smart individual, correct in head, eye & expression, ears well placed & used to good advantage, good neck which leads to a clean shoulder, short back, good tailset, stands on good bone with neat feet, moved out soundly, well presented. BP;

2 Marley’s Rotur Celtic Ghoste at Arguside, fair exhibit throughout, feminine head qualities, keen eye & expression. Ears tended to be a bit erratic. Fair body balance, good tailset. Needs to settle in front. In good order.

JD (0). PGD (1) A. OD (0).

JB (1)

1 Harrison’s Adohr Tutie Fruitie, very smart individual, correct in head, keen eye & expression. Ears could be a little more tighter. Good neck & shoulder, correct in topline, good set on, standing looked a picture. Could be more positive going away. Well presented.

PGB (2,1a)

1 Harrison’s Adohr Treasure Trove, has some good breed points, neat in head with keen eye. Ears could have been better. Body proportions good, excellent neck, clean shoulders, good bone & feet. Not so positive going away but kept a good outline on the go around. In good order.

OB (3)

All three bitches were of different make & shape, I made my choice on personal preference.

1 Porter & Crisp’s Merekoast Vixen, very smart individual, quality head which has good balance, keen eye & expression, neat ears used to good advantage, super neck & shoulders, well ribbed, short back leading to a good set on, looked a picture stacked, when settled put her best foot forward showing good rear drive & keeping a good outline on the go around, in excellent order. BOB;

2 Falkous’ Am Ch Morgansonne Meri’s Dar Lu of Falkmere, super headed exhibit, so well balanced, feminine, keen eye, strong neck & forechest, excellent ribbing, short level topline with good tail set. Just wished this bitch has a touch more leg. Moved with power & purpose, well presented;

3 Harrison’s Adohr Tally Ho We Go.
