FOX SMOOTH WINDSOR 09 Judge: Mrs P Broom SMOOTH FOX JUDGE WINDSOR 09 Smooth Fox Terriers PD (4) 1 Griffiths & Jones’ Yoxella White Tie, lovely b/w, quality 8 months puppy who showed & moved like a veteran, he has great presence, lovely head, small dark eye, well carried ears, good neck & shoulder, short level back, good bone, legs & feet, good set & well developed quarters which he used so well on the move. He will surely have a great future. BP, CC & BOB; 2 Goodley’s Tuskenraider Skywalker, 8 months t/w puppy, who has all the essentials, in good coat & condition, pleasing head & expression, just needs to grow into his ears. Good neck & shoulder, level topline & set-on, in good coat & moved soundly; 3 Brookes’ Mischief In Disguise. JD (0). PGD (7,1a) 1 Savini’s Starpride Devil In Disguise, t/w, very balanced dog, of ideal size, good neck & shoulder, pleasing head with good ear & eye, looked well in profile when moving around the ring; 2 Horlock’s Ranlock Portman, nice type of dog, good head & expression, good front, neck & shoulders, legs & feet. Just a shade longer in back than 1. Moved well; 3 Baker’s Tuskenraide Stormtrooper. LD (3,1) 1 Marston’s Chipstead Gulliver from Classicway, b/w of good type, good overall shape, pleasing head, good neck & shoulder, level topline, well muscled hindquarters, moved OK; 2 Bissett’s Turflindie Tom Two Ways, t/w, good head & ears, but was lacking body so didn’t look quite his best. Moved OK. OD (3) 1 Thornton & Bebbington’s Ch Glendraterra Dylan Thomas, b/w dog of excellent size, good outline & balance, well proportioned head & well carried ears, good bone legs & feet. Did not move as well as I know he can. RCC; 2 Julian’s Vertway Scots Guard at Lanyon’s, heavily marked tan dog who catches the eye when standing, long head, well carried ears, good neck & shoulder, in good coat & condition; 3 Saunders’ Star Turn of Galleyshine. V (0). PB (4,2) 1 Saunders’ Galleyshine Secret Love, very pretty black headed puppy who I am sure will have a bright future, attractive head, dark eye, well carried ears, good level topline, body & hindquarters, which she used well on move, showed extremely well; 2 Saddleton’s Tamarwahy Princess Jasmine, nice tan headed puppy, in good coat, neck & shoulder, moved & showed well for her young handler. JB (1) 1 Jones’ Darlaur Deuce, feminine bitch, with good head & ear placement, pleasing expression, level topline & good tailset, moved well behind. PGB (3) 1 Hughes’ Forgevale Fourstar, quality bitch with lots to like about her, beautifully balanced, pleasing head, in very good condition. Just lacked animation; 2 Darby’s Dobelands Private Dancer of Classicway, nice type of bitch, feminine head. Would have liked her to use her ears better. Moved well; 3 Horlock’s Ranlock Oakley. LB (3,1a) 1 Marston’s Chipstead Gemstone, this bitch has to be handled to appreciate her qualities, lovely type, pretty feminine head, small eye, well carried ears, good neck & shoulders in great body & good set, well muscled hindquarters, showed extremely well for her handler. CC; 2 Thornton & Bebbington’s Glendraterra Danzatrice, nice type of bitch but different to 1. Good bone, legs & feet, well presented & moved soundly. OB (3) 1 Lewis’ Dobelands Sonador, tan marked bitch in very good coat & condition, pleasing head & expression, good neck & shoulders, firm body, well muscled hindquarters, moved well. RCC; 2 Clifford’s Migley Whitside, bitch of good type, nicely put together, but lacking body which spoilt the overall effect. Moved OK; 3 Falkous’ Am Ch Morgansonne Meris Dar-Lu of Falkmere.
