Not a great entry, sadly depleted further still by a few absentees.

1 Kerrigan & Leadbeater’s Leadstaffs Sensation, stylish puppy, still rather raw & he needs to knit together. Very good rear, head & coat, moves OK. BP.

1 Greenway’s Rayfos Mickey Rooney, masculine dog, very good type, good body, topline, legs & feet, excellent coat in good order. Shoulders not so pleasing. Showed well;

2 Matti & Omitogun’s Louieville Red King in Frontline, red dog who I liked but he was very unco-operative in the ring & did not show well. Great pity as he is a good dog, well made with excellent breed points, good coat & condition.

1 Averis & Barker’s Saredon Flashback, very typical all over, good body, front & rear, excellent tail, hard, but somewhat short coat, pleasing head, won with a bit to spare, very masculine but in no way coarse. CC;

2 Maughan’s Brocolitia Red Copper, lovely type, very good head, ears & expression, sound with good run in of shoulders, excellent set-on of tail. Needs more coat, but his overall quality & type could not be overlooked. RCC.

1 Jones’ Saredon Unveiled to Mikeland, showy puppy, good body, excellent coat. Ears not her fortune & I would have liked better shoulders. Well presented with excellent temperament.

1 Stott’s Brocolitia Copyright, not as small as 1 but very well made & of lovely type. Excellent coat & condition, showing well, lovely head. A little untidy with her ears. RCC;

2 Greenway’s Rayfos Hawk Leaf, very good type & size, sound behind, good tail & hindquarters, good coat. Not so pleasing in head & expression. Easy mover.

1 McCallum’s Glentops Bubble And Squeak, feminine, good size, coat & condition. Topline could be better & movement more fluid. Rather short stepping which lets her down. Typical head & expression, very good tail.

LB (3)

1 Connell’s Sonorra Molly Malone, lovely overall make & shape, excellent body, neck & shoulders, good behind. Head & ears not her fortune. Moved well;

2 Fletcher & Callow’s Nujax Ruby Slippers, slightly bigger bitch, good condition with excellent body properties. Rather straight behind & ear could be set better giving a better expression. Happy showgirl;

3 McCallum’s Glentops Butterfly Kisses.

OB (4,1)

1 Greenway’s Ch Rayfos Night Shadow, lovely bitch in tip-top condition, moving & showing very attentively & well, lovely head & eye, ears, front & run in of neck & shoulders, good body, rear & particularly sound & correct in movement. CC & BOB;

2 Johnston’s Blackdale Ambitious, very feminine, good type. Topline not so strong & she is finer all through than 1. Good order & showed well.
