Norfolk Terriers

Mouths still need watching but eyes are also a concern, not just the colour but the shape & size which when correct – small oval & dark give the wonderful expression we must not lose.

1 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Blacklace, 10 months b/t with good head, nice eye, flowing neck into good shoulder, excellent bite with correct large teeth, short back. Would prefer more of him. BP;

2 Fraser’s Jaeva Midas Touch at Saltarello, typy puppy, compact & well made, good stop & bite, dark eye, short muzzle, well presented;

3 List’s Seltrenda Alfie Mac.

1 Phillips & Sargent’s Jaeva Pocket Rocket, compact with good bone, broad skull & short strong muzzle with good bite, dark eye & neat small ears, moved OK once settled, good presentation;

2 Saltmarsh’s Pipridge Hot Basil, very masculine dog in excellent harsh coat, broad skull, nice small dark eye. Eyes a bit heavy. Higher on leg than 1 & longer in back.

1 Fraser’s Brymarden Candidate at Saltarello, typy stocky dog in full coat. Would prefer better shape eye. Good neck & shoulder with short back, best movement of this class;

2 Claydon’s Brymarden Copper Coin, lovely head with broad skull, good stop & ear carriage, eye same as 1, harsh coat but lacking furnishings which spoilt finished look;

3 Rayner’s Mstease Making Mayhem.

1 Stevenson’s Brickin Told You So, really lovely head, broad skull, nice dark eye, strong muzzle with good bite, well angulated hindquarters, typy with good bone, moved out well;

2 Lloyd’s Orison Bootlace, well presented in harsh coat, strong head with well defined stop, good bite, neck & shoulder, moved well;

3 Atkinson’s Moortop Hot Roll.

1 Jenkins’ Ch Kinsridge Top Dollar, stood out, quality dog, typy & presented in lovely coat, beautiful head, broad skull, deep stop, short strong muzzle with excellent bite & large teeth, clean neck & shoulder, short back & level topline, moved out well with real presence. CC & BOB;

2 Green’s Wharfvalley Kir Royale, have liked this nice honest dog before, strong head & broad skull, nice eye & good bite, excellent neck & shoulder, harsh coat. Slightly long in back but moves soundly. RCC;

3 Cooper’s Jaeva Tril-Bee among Settrenda.

1 McGrath’s Hoathnor Merrytilda, 11½ years red bitch, typy in harsh coat, good skull & stop, dark eye, short back, happy & showing well, very good for her age. BV;

2 Wilson’s Sheltrice Dash Of Magic, 8 years, masculine dog with lovely head. Heavier in shoulder but good length of neck, longer in back. Excellent harsh coat.

1 Cooper’s Settrenda Saucy Sox, gorgeous typy bitch, lovely head with dark eye giving lovely expression, correct bite, good neck & well laid shoulder, well balanced for age with short back, a real baby but showing her quality;

2 Phillips’ Blakens Party Popper, smart puppy in harsh coat which was still coming in, lovely head, good stop & dark eye, nice length of neck & good shoulder. Longer in back but held topline, moved well;

3 Newton’s Strathinver Red Red Rose.

1 Jones & Phillips’ Jaeva Bag Of Tricks, dark red in harsh coat, lovely broad skull & dark eye, neck flows into well laid shoulder, short back & well angulated, won this class on movement;

2 Stevenson’s Brickin Skip Away, typy bitch in lovely harsh coat, excellent dark eye, good stop, short muzzle, short back, correct neck & shoulder, good bone & set-on;

3 Howard’s Hatchwoods Flamenco.

1 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Roll The Dice, beautifully balanced & typy with lovely head, good stop & bite, excellent neck & shoulder, short back, moved & showed well, expertly presented. CC;

2 Smith’s Hatchwoods Smokescreen, typy beautiful bitch. Coat going over which made her look heavy in shoulder. Excellent head with lovely small dark eye, short muzzle, short back, nice size with good movement;

3 Horne’s Golden Breeze.

LB (6,1)

1 Claydon’s Brymarden Copper Kettle, well presented in excellent harsh coat, broad skull, correct bite, very good lay of shoulder. To be critical would be a shade shorter in back. Moved out well showing happily all the time;

2 Atkinson’s Moortop Mary’s Choice, nice bitch in harsh coat, good head with excellent stop & strong muzzle, lovely bone, good shoulder, also longer in back;

3 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Silk Petticoat.

1 Thompson-Morgan’s Belleville Lucky Dice, typy bitch in harsh coat, broad skull, good bite, correct length of neck into well laid shoulder, short back, moved OK. RCC;

2 Matell’s Cracknor Custom Made, lovely head with strong muzzle & good bite, nice size ear placed correctly, good neck & shoulder, harsh coat, lovely tail well set on. A little bit overweight;

3 Stevenson’s Brickin One For The Pot.
