Northern Counties Sporting Terrier Assoc Open Show 31/03/12 Judge Angela Johnston - Curghyll Kerry Blue Terriers Post Graduate (D/B) (2,1) 1st BOB & BIS Rafter s Arkama My Way(b) Super youngster, well presented, lovely clean refined head, well set ears, long slightly arched neck, nice layback of Shoulder, super front, soft silky coat Good rear angles & plenty behind the tail, showed & moved well, a difficult decision for BOB but she won on ear placement and refinement throughout. I was absolutely delighted to watch her go Best in Show later in the day. Open (D/B) (3,1) 1st Peacocks-Cranmoss Millie (b) A mature bitch of quality and super colour, beautifully presented I preferred the head of her kennel mate, but she took the class on ear placement today. 2nd Peacocks Rimbert Queen Aravis (b) Manchester Terrier Open D/B (1:0) Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier 1st & BOB Clarke s Calanace Fat Bottomed Girl for Flaxella Compact, short coupled bitch with substance and style, head of correct proportions, lovely ears and expression, good angles front and rear, good rib, tail on top, but she could move a little close behind at times. Open (D/B) (1,0) A showy upstanding dog who moved well when settled, preferred the Type & compactness of the BOB Welsh Terrier A bitch with good bone and substance and in smashing fettle, good coat and colour but I would like more positive movement in the rear Angela Johnston (Curghyll)
