I had an impressive line up for Best in Show, and I could have found reason to change any of my major awards, but this is what I settled on, I also had a couple of really impressive puppies, I look forward to watch them progress in the future to top honours.

Best in Show – G1 – Annan’s – LOMONDVIEW MAN IN BLACK (Scottish Terrier)
Caught my eye as soon as I saw him, a cracking black dog, good clean head, good shape and balance, moved well both ways holding a good topline and tailset on the move, good coat and furnishings, showed all the time, moved with purpose.

G2 – Smith’s – LAM-BAIAS MAD MAX AT MARRCRIEFF SHCM (Skye Terrier)
What an eye catching strong well balanced dog, good powerful head with a deep underjaw with excellent teeth, good ear placement and expression, with a good neck, good balance and construction throughout, moved well both ways, good cream coat to finish the picture.

G3 – Bledge’s – BLOMENDAL THUNDER ROAD KISS (Sealyham Terrier)
Strong bitch, excellent head good ear placement showing expression, accompanied by a good bite, good neck and clean shoulders, well bodied with excellent quarters, moved well both ways, shown in good condition, nice coat and finish.

G4 – McClelland’s – CH ROCHLAWIE BEHOLD THE HOUR JW (S.B.T.)
Impressive looking, good classical head, strong jaw, well balanced throughout, moved well both ways, well muscled shown in top condition.

Best Special Puppy – Annan’s – LOMONDVIEW HOT OATS (Scottish Terrier)
Excellent wheaten Scottie pup, excellent head, good furnishings for age, good balance and construction, showed all the time, moved well both ways, nice harsh coat.

A.V. Minor Puppy Dog (3)
1st Moore’s – JOKYL TRUE GRIT AT ARNGASK (Airedale Terrier)
Good young Airedale I have had the pleasure of judging before, good head and expression, nice balance maturing well.
2nd Campbell & Irvine’s – DIAMONDSTAFF JACK N BLACK (SBT)
2rd Fisher’s – HAVASU HEAD BOY (WHWT)

A.V. Minor Puppy Bitch (2)
1st Barrass’ – GALLONDEAN FOREIGN SPIRIT (Skye Terrier)
Cracking young Skye bitch, one for the future, excellent in head, ears and expression, good neck and topline, excellent in balance, good angulation, moved well for its age, still needs time to mature, look forward to see her in the future.
2nd Everard’s – ESKWIRE SCOTTISH EDITION (WFT)

Excellent wheaten Scottie pup, excellent head, good furnishings for age, good balance and construction, showed all the time, moved well both ways, nice harsh coat. (Special Best Puppy)

3rd Tullis’ – DRUMSHEUGH MCLINTOCK (WHWT)
4th Lui’s – EBLANAHALLS AYE RIGHT (SCWT)

Good Westie pup, with a good head and expression, well balanced with a good topline and tailset, moved with good drive from rear, good coat.

7 year old bitch, good head and expression, good shape and balance, well angulated front and rear, moved well. (B.O.B.)

Good head and expression, well balanced and constructed, good front, shoulders, topline and tailset, well angulated, moved well both ways. (B.O.B.)

Good in head, looks well in profile, moved well at rear.

Good head and expression, nice balance, good topline and tailset, moved in profile and away.

Good head and ears showing expression, good overall shape and construction, moved well both ways, jacket in between coats, but still an excellent dog which has a good future.

3rd Fortune’s – EGLISH WILLIES WEE MAN WITH ESSDEEEFF

Good head and eye, well balanced with a good body, moved a bit erratic.

Scottish Terrier
Junior (1)
1st Annan’s – LOMONDANE FOXY LADY
Good young bitch, excellent head and expression, sound through, moved well both ways, good coat.

Post Graduate (1)
1st Annan’s – LOMONDVIEW HONEY SUCKLE
Good wheaten bitch, well balanced with good coat and furnishings, just struggled to show.

Open (1)
