West Midland Terrier Society 29.11.2014 I would like to take this opportunity to thank all involved in the running of this show it was both an honour and privilege to be involved in this superb All Terrier show. I would like to thank the exhibitors for allowing me the privilege of judging their dogs and for the sporting way in which they took my decision on the day. The overall quality of the dogs was good. Mouths in general were very good. Movement was good and handling excellent in most of the classes. Puppy dog 6/3 1st Mr E & Mrs R Woollett - Assilio Red Alert Strong headed red who has a dark eye with rose ear, correct bite with nice big teeth and good strength to underjaw, front ok and still developing, good backend which gave a good drive in his movement, correct tail set. Moved and handled well by his up and coming handler who I am so proud to have watched develop over the last year. Best Puppy.- Best Puppy in Show was the overall completion of my day. Thank you to Bill Brown Cole. Junior Dog 2/2 1st Ms Greenhouse- Bullets Tribute Black Brindle of just 12 months, headpiece of correct size for age with a strong underjaw and dark eye. Short coupled with correct tail set. Good spring of rib. was difficult to settle but level topline which was held whilst on the move when eventually settled. Novice dog 1st Mr E & Mrs R Woollett - Assilio Red Alert Post Graduate Dog 2/1 1St Miss D Herron- Manark Fast and Furious Drk Brindle. Strong head with good stop and dark eye. Good pigmentation. Plenty of bone and substance but not overdone. Well muscled rear end. Level topline held standing and on the move. Open Dog 5/5 1st Mrs T Hubble The Man at the Top Red Dog with strong skull and dark mask. Strong cheek muscles with a good depth of underjaw. Rose ears which gave a clean expression. Good depth of brisket and well sprung rib. Well-muscled rear end. Level topline held standing and on the move. Best Dog and Best of Breed. Puppy Bitch 7/7 1st Miss Thomson- Starolestaff Lady Bea with Siriustaff Black Brindle with a lovely expression and a good headshape with rose ears, clean dark eye. Rib developing well. Good depth of brisket and lovely tight feet. Level topline held standing and on the move. Junior Bitch 3/2 Mr D & Mrs K Molineux –Jefmor Winter Solstice for Druidhawk 1st Black Brindle, Lovely clean cut head of correct proportions , Neat rose ears, dark round eye. Correct bite, Straight front with tight well-padded feet, correct lay of shoulder. Ample rib, good rear angulation, Moved with ease both ways when settled. Novice Bitch 2/2 1st Miss Thomson- Starolestaff Lady Bea with Siriustaff Post Graduate Bitch 1/1 Mr l Turner & Miss J Neale- Manark Mayhem 1st Black Brindle, Good head shape, Clean lipped, Nice expression which made her glow, Correct dentition, Nice front and feet tight, Correct lay of shoulder, correct rear angulation, Moved very well both ways when eventually settled. Best Bitch and Opposite Sex. I look forward to following this girl as I’m sure she will have a super career. Open Bitch 6/1 Mr A.P Byrne – Manark Maggie May 1st Bl/Br with white. Prettiest of heads, clean with dark round eye. Good front and close coupled with level topline. Naturally stood 4 square with minimum of stacking. Moved well.
