Judge Bob Blackley Today I was very lucky, I had an entry full of quality, my Border Terrier puppies, any one of them could win the class, it was very close, I was pleased to see the B.O.B. Border Terrier get G1 and the B.P. get Puppy G2 under Helen Bakewell, we were lucky with the weather, the Show was well run, all credit to the Committee and the Stewards, and of course the Kitchen Staff, I personally had a really enjoyable day. Thanks to all involved. Border Terrier Puppy (7. 4 absent) 1st McPherson’s – BRUMBERHILL BRIDESMAID Good typical head showing expression, well balanced, good rear quarters, moved well in front and rear, holding a good topline on the move, coat harsh and dense, but close to blowing. (Best Puppy) 2nd Atkinson’s – TOJAMATT RHYTHM N’BLUES AT RAEDWULF 3rd Taylor’s – NOTTORG NOSTALGIA Post Grad (3. 1 absent). 1st Atkinson’s – TYNEASTER SPECIAL AGENT AT RAEWULF Good solid dog, good head and expression and overall conformation, wouldn’t want any more of him, well angulated front and rear, moved well both ways holding a good topline. (Reserve Best of Breed) 2nd Metcalfe’s – TOJAMATT MYTH FOR CHEVINOR Open (4. 2 absent) 1st McPherson’s – BRUMBERHILL BACK T’FUTURE JW What an excellent blue & tan dog, excellent headshape, well set ears, and good eye showing expression, good body, not overdone in rib, looks excellent viewed from front and in profile, moved parallel front and rear with good reach and drive with a good topline and tailset, coat in excellent order, harsh coat and good pelt. (Best of Breed) 2nd Metcalfe’s – DANDYHOW FRIENDLY FIRE AT CHEVINOR ShCM Fox Terrier (Wire) Open (2) 1st North’s – KISS ME QUICK FOR ANSTARS An excellent bitch, of good proportions, big enough, excellent classic pencil case head, clean, good length of foreface, good eye and well placed good sized ears set well, showing good expression, straight well boned front, good neck, topline and tailset, well angulated quarters, moved well both ways with drive. 1st McPherson’s – BRUMBERHILL BRIDESMAID
Good typical head showing expression, well balanced, good rear quarters, moved well in front and rear, holding a good topline on the move, coat harsh and dense, but close to blowing. (Best Puppy)
