A pleasure to judge this breed for the first time with CCs. I was pleased with my line-up of bitches in the challenge, all quality bitches.

PD

1 Toulsyork Combat Copper, 8 months, well grown, clean outline, excellent neck & quarters, strong head which does not need to become any heavier, good topline on the move, flexes his quarters well, can tighten in front, good coat texture, went with style in the challenge for BP & pipped the very nice bitch;

2 Collcur The Emperor, 8 months, excellent ribs & coat, finer head than 1, just needs to come up on the leg a little, sound mover, just a little loose all round;

3 Knowlelian A Sunny Smile at Alkinra.

1 Jolliver Funky Monkey, classy dog of excellent outline, tail bang on top & well carried, good coat texture & colour, clean, masculine head, neck just a little high, very good movement at both ends. Just needs to finish in ribs, loved his temperament, really on his toes at all times, excellent presentation.

1 Sherif’s Midnight Rambler, a little short on the leg for balance but very good coat texture, colour & clean in head, good eye, ears could be a little neater, sound & with straight movement, tail carriage a little tight;

2 Awbeck Painted Moon, 6 years, short baked & cobby & carries a good topline with good tailset, clean skull & good foreface but a little deep through the head & ears could be neater. Rather tied in elbow, coat texture & colours could be better;

3 Mitchamist Christmas Dream.

LD

1 Collcur Courageous, lovely, quality dog, clean head, good eye & ear, well made at both ends & good tailset, just needs a little more depth of chest now. Good coat for texture & colour, smart, straight mover, pressed hard for RCC;

2 Crillee Cool As Jack, a little stronger than 1, good ribs & body, good tailset. Would prefer him a little better let down in the rear, carried a good topline, masculine head & good ears;

3 Jokyl Flash Gordon.

OD

1 Ch/Am Ch Longview Joker at Saredon, comfortable winner, very smart on the move, clean head & good ears, well made at both ends which shows in his movement. Would like just a little more substance for a male & slightly better use of ears but he is full of quality with superb coat & colour. CC & BOB;

2 Ch Jokyl Captain Scarlet, cobby dog with a lot of qualities including ribs & coat, front action could be better, masculine head with good eye, a touch heavy but won RCC on topline & tailset;

3 Rockridge JP Black Shadow.

Nice class with some very promising puppies.

1 Smockvalley Top Totty, 8 months, very smart, balanced & ultra sound, excellent ribs & coat, well made at both ends, excellent coat, very good head & eye, stood out for me, feel she will have a very good future;

2 Collcur The Empress, 8 months, a little heavy in body & her tailset, would look better when in firmer condition. Good skull, eye a little large, sound moving & moved up a place for her carriage on the move;

3 Toulsyork Chapter Three.

Hardest decision of the day.

1 What Comes Around via Toulsyork, feminine, lovely size & balance & very true on the move, could be neater in the ears, coat just changing to good texture, scored for me in size & accurate movement;

2 Stargus Black Lace, beautiful coat & colour, makes a very impressive picture. Just a little too much of her for my taste. 1 had edge femininity & front movement;

3 Muliebrity Snow Lady.

1 Sherifs Ruby Tuesday, easy winner, for outline, balance & clean movement, very smart outline, clean feminine head & good eye, good coat & colours, a lot of quality & with full maturity of body will go far, quality all through;

2 Minnisoda Calendar Girl, feminine, balanced & carries herself well which won her this class. Would like a little more depth of body & cleaner front action but her balance put her above;

3 Stabucks Ebony.

1 Garlands Tango Girl, handsome bitch of excellent coat & colour, a little strong for my taste, sound mover, holds a good topline, good rib & quarters.

OB

1 Ch Jokyl Star Flash, lovely quality bitch, beautiful shape with excellent ribs, tail bang on & lovely outline. Carries herself well with excellent drive, firm on the move, clean head, dark eye. CC;

2 Ch Nedella The Diamond, taller bitch, in lovely form, she is strong but still feminine, preferred her ears to winner, very good outline & carriage but her front action not as good a 1’s. Very smart, quality bitch. RCC;

3 Collcur Catch A Dream.
