Skye Terriers

A good entry. I was very pleased with my winners.

JD (1)

1 Bailey & Hansel’s Mighty Mouse by Marjayn, this young cream dog shows a lot of promise, strong masculine head & foreface, dark eye & correct bite, good reach of neck, well laid shoulders with a good front, level topline & good rear angulation. When he stops giving his handler such a hard time & settles on the move he should do well.

PGD (2)

1 Ankorn’s Feorlig True Destiny of Pensford, very well made nice cream dog with a good outline, excellent topline, good front & well angulated strong rearend, excels in movement. Just needs more head & ear furnishings to give him the glamour;

2 Neilson’s Kinecto Black Magic, silver dog with quite a good reach of neck & level topline, moves OK. Lacking in coat.

LD (5)

1 Curtis’ Gumshoe Bugsy Malone of Brakemill, dark silver dog, good head, dark eye, correct bite, excellent neck flowing into well laid shoulders & good front, moved well & has a very elegant outline, pushed hard in challenge. RDCC;

2 Harrison’s Knowlespring Jailhouse Roc for Trenson, cream dog of good type, well made with a good topline & good rear drive. Needs more head furnishing;

3 Barrass’ Gallondean Moonlite Shadow.

OD (5,1a)

1 Woodhead’s Knowlespring Sunday Best, a dog I have admired many times, quality pale silver in excellent coat & condition, strong masculine head with dark eye & intelligent expression, correct bite, good reach of neck flowing into well laid shoulders & excellent front assembly, very well angulated rearend which he used to advantage giving him excellent rear drive, a very well made dog. CC & BOB;

2 Miller’s Ch Feorlig Give Me A Reason, another good dog, dark silver with a good outline, good front, excellent topline & good rear angulation, moved well, beautifully handled;

3 Marshall’s Ch The Black Touch of Moriningsky at Glorfindel.

JB (2,1)

1 Bailey & Hansel’s promising dark silver bitch, feminine head with lovely expression, good neck & shoulders, level topline, moved well.

NB (2,1)

1 Woodhead’s Knowlespring Hot Property, very nice silver bitch with a lovely outline, feminine head, good reach of neck with well laid shoulders flowing into a good front assembly, good topline. A little nervous on the move but moved well when settled.

PGB (5,1)

1 Viles’ Juniper Girl, very well made feminine silver bitch with a good outline, feminine head, good reach of neck, well laid shoulders, good front, good topline & well made hindquarters which she used to advantage on the move. Just needs more coat to complete the picture;

2 Miller’s Feorlig Take Me Or Leave Me, very close up to 1 & similar remarks apply;

3 White’s Knowlespring You’re Nicked by Gumshoe.

LB (5,1)

1 White’s Gumshoe It’s A Fair Cop, I really like this bitch & I am sure that when she decides to ‘show’ she will be made up. Dark silver, beautiful outline & very feminine, good head with intelligent expression, excellent reach of neck, well laid shoulders, good front, excellent long level topline, good rear angulation. When stood she looked beautiful but sadly she didn’t show herself to her best advantage on the move if or when she does I predict she will go to the top;

2 Juniper Girl;

3 Evans’ Perfect Princess.

OB (5,2)

1 Bailey & Hansel’s Ch Silisia Firenze, this quality bitch walked into the ring & demanded first place, feminine dark silver with a pretty head, dark eye, good bite, good neck, excellent shoulders, good length, & well angulated rear moved very well. Pushed hard in the challenge but tired a little thus giving the dog the advantage. I do often wonder if the bitches are at a disadvantage in the challenge especially if they come from the Open class as they don’t have the time to have a drink or a rest before challenging for BOB;

2 Miller’s Ch Feorlig Something Wicked, quality bitch, feminine & well made with all of the attributes of 1. A worthy ch but just did not have the finishing of 1 & didn’t seem to have the sparkle that I have seen in her in the past;

3 Macqueen’s Ch Azrakhan Capercaillie.
