What a lovely Show. To judge at The National Terrier Clubs Champ. Show is, indeed, very special. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The quality was there in depth and there was was some hotly contested classes. I was judging the Stafford bitches and it was nice to officiate with my old friend, Richard Vann, who was 'doing' the dogs.
We were in agreement on our top winners, with Stanway's dog, Waystaff Strikes Back, going BOB, & who went on to BIS Group 3, under Paul Wilkinson. A terrific achievement in such esteemed company. Our Best puppy was Dewar's young bitch, Mintmar One for One.
Special thanks to my two ring stewards, Barbara Ann & Sylvia, who looked after me on the day and kept things moving along smoothly and to you, the exhibitors, for giving me the opportunity of accessing your stock. It was indeed a privilege.....thank you.
Minor Puppy Bitch. 24, 3 ab.
1st. Dewar's, Mintmar One for One, quality b.b. Youngster, beautiful expression with neat rose ears, dark round eye, correct bite, good front, straight with correct turn out at pasterns, black nails, well ribbed up for age, good quarters,
moved well with good drive to Best Puppy bitch & with my co-judges agreement, Best Puppy.
2nd. Dowling & Caswell's, Tarowdorgy Kerensa at Cyberstaff, another good youngster, b.b. with lovely expression,
neat well set ears, dark eye, all the attributes of 1 with good type & overall balance. Went well.
3rd. Robinson's, Giga Baba at Leger.
Puppy Bitch. 11.
1st. Thomsen's, Atharrisons Mollies Pride, lovely balanced b.b., grand head & expression with neat rose ears,
dark round eye, correct bite, presented a nice profile & carried a level top line, moved & handled well.
2nd. Cramer's, Dardanians Andromeda, brindle pied with a pleasing head, dark eye,
good bite, lovely shoulders with good bone & feet, short coupled, moved true.
3rd Wood's, Bultery Black Magic.
Junior Bitch. 13, 2 ab.
1st. Jackson & Whitehouse's, Bourtie Wot a Steal, JW, lots to like about this lovely bitch, stood out in this class with quality all through, grand head & expression with neat rose ears, crackin' front with good shoulders, well ribbed up for age with good tuck up, fit & well balanced with strong quarters, maturing nicely into a very good bitch.
2nd. Byrne's', Lackyle Realta Eiri, good bitch with nice feminine expression, well balanced with good shoulders,
nice ribbed body with strong quarters. Moved & handled well.
3rd. Moore's, Krickastaff Mud Monkey.
Yearling Bitch. 18, 2 ab.
1st. Fryatt's, Denbright Red Angel, tidy dark red bitch, pleasing expression, good front & shoulders,
ample bone, black nails, stood four-square with good quarters. Moved well.
2nd. Gent & Jackson's, Advocates Kween of the Ring, stunning b.b., full of quality, so much to like about her,
full of type with a cracking head, nice front & bone, well ribbed up, unfortunately over weight!
Get her fit and she will trouble the best.
3rd. Reaney & Jackson's, Rolenska Leading Lady of Saxanjax.

1st. Booth, Grimwood, Barker & Ventham's,Ramblestaff Miss De, lovely b.b. In good condition, pleasing head & expression with dark eye, good front, tight feet with correct turn out, a standard bitch with lovely ribbed body,
fit with good tuck up, shown & handled well.
2nd. Thomsen's, Atharrisons Mollies Pride. ( 1st in puppy).
3rd. Gatenby's, Ladrambay Wilderness Child.

with good eye & ears, correct bite, nice front, well ribbed up, went well.

1st. Nunan & Butten's, Trufflestaff Country Girl, really nice b.b. Bitch, loved her expression with dark round eyes, neat well set ears, up on her toes with correct shoulders & straight front, good feet & turn out, nice arch of neck leading to good ribbed body, stood square with strong quarters, moved true & carried a level top line. Well handled.
2nd.Cockayne's, Luna Landing, strong headed dark brindle, standard bitch with good front & tight feet,
well bodied up, went with drive from strong quarters. Fit bitch that was well presented.
3rd. Beard's, Haswethh Crazy Jane.
Limit Bitch. 11, 2ab.
Best Class of the day. Full of quality in depth.
1st. Baxter's, Zakstaff Black Velvet, JW, beautiful b.b bitch of top quality, lovely head, strong yet feminine with dark round eye, neat well set rose ears, correct bite, nice crest of neck leading to pleasing body of good depth, excellent front with ample bone, good feet & turn out at pasterns. She stood four square with nice bend of stifle on good quarters. moved freely with drive & carried a level top line. She was a joy to go over, beat some good un's & it was a pleasure to award her the bitch CC. Well done.
2nd. Hirst & Bibby's, Taraiel Trinity, stunning b.b. with some white on neck, hard as nails & certainly one you have to go over, lovely type & expression, good bite, dark round eye, she has lovely neat rose ears, short coupled with good rib,
well tucked up with strong quarters, level top line with correct set on. Lovely bitch, well handled to Res. CC.
3rd. Simpson's, Briganah Black Orchid JW.

1st. Byrne's, Aus. Ch. Belledem Fleur de Rouge, tidy red bitch with pleasing head, neat ears, correct bite,
straight front, good in profile with a level top line & nice quarters. Moved & handled well.
2nd. William's, Ch.Valglo Annastasia, strong headed b.b., lovely expression, good front & shoulders
with grand ribbed body, well tucked up with nice bend of stifle. Shown & handled well.
3rd. Powell's, Foxstaff Mystic Magic, JW, ShCM.
