Staffordshire Bull Terriers

Overall I was pleased with the quality of exhibits; however there were a couple of bad mouths & some in poor condition. In the higher classes placing could have been reversed as some decisions came down to nit picking.

1 Hill & Smart’s Gywnford Jimi Hendrix, 9 months b/b, clean scissor bite, dark eye, well shaped head, good muzzle & underjaw, straight front, level topline on the move, handled well;

2 Smith’s Kylorda Koda, 9 months b/b, clean scissor bite, dark eye, good shaped head & muzzle. A little playful, but moved OK;

3 Kendall’s Tillcarr Pyrolosis.

1 Asker’s Dazmarnic Don’t Tell Um, 10 months mahogany brindle, superb head, good ear carriage, dark eye, good width of muzzle, powerful underjaw, clean scissor bite, good straight front, topline level on the move, good bend of stifle, well muscled, handled well;

2 Scarlett & Reid’s Ramblestaff Ebenezer Good, 11 months, good head proportions, good width of muzzle, strong underjaw, dark eye, neat ears, good straight front, level topline, moved well;

3 Longley’s Emperorstaff Coronet Gold.

1 Dewar’s Mintmar Just The Man, brindle, superb head, neat ears, dark eye, good strength of muzzle, clean scissor bite, good front & shoulders, level topline, short coupled, well muscled rearend, good bend of stifle, in fit condition, moved well;

2 Marachowska’s Kalhols Black Magic at Passernomen, b/b, taller than 1 & longer in the body. Good head, dark eye, good strong muzzle, clean scissor bite. Ears a little high set. Well muscled body, strong rearend, moved & handled well;

3 Powell’s Cwmcalon Son Of The Lord.

1 Karlsson’s Valglo Enzo of Jewelstaff, b/b, super head & expression, dark eye, neat ears, clean scissor bite, good muzzle & underjaw, well developed body, short coupled, good front, short backed, well muscled rearend. Didn’t move as well as I have seen him which let him down;

2 Pickett’s Valglo Singin The Blues, blue, neat ears, good strong powerful head, nice round eye, good strength of muzzle, good underjaw, straight front, level topline, good bend of stifle, moved & handled well;

3 Weiss’ Jch Sandman Great N Glory.

1 Pickston’s Marmaduke My Lord, b/b, short coupled, good head shape, neat ears, nice expression, clean scissor bite, dark eye, good front, level topline, well muscled shoulders, well muscled rearend, moved well;

2 Partlett’s Wardwelstaff Badgers Best, b/b, strong head, neat ears, dark eye, clean scissor bite, good width of muzzle. Shoulders a little overloaded, but good level topline & rearend movement;

3 Membury’s Mitzstaff No Mercy.

1 Pickett’s Valglo Specialist, b/b, well shaped head, neat ears, dark eye, clean scissor bite, good front, short backed, well muscled rearend, good bend of stifle, up on pasterns, level topline, moved & handled well, fought hard for RCC;

2 Patterson’s Penshannel Wicked William, red, excellent head shape, neat ears, dark eye, good width of muzzle, black mask, clean scissor bite, good straight front, short coupled, level topline, good bend of stifle, moved extremely well. Just preferred outline of 1, but this dog should do well;

3 Ewart’s Grangestaff Razzmatazz at Rowansblac.

1 Dillon’s Cragails Get A Grip, b/b, well shaped head, neat ears, dark eye, good muzzle with underjaw, good straight front, well boned forequarters, good depth of brisket, good tail carriage, moved soundly with reach & drive, in excellent condition, a credit to his owner & deserved RCC;

2 Beaufoy’s Wyrefare The Governor, red, well shaped head, neat ears, nice round eye, strong muzzle, good underjaw, good straight front. A little longer in body than 1, but well muscled & level topline on the move. Moved well;

3 Streeter’s Vale Of Bryn Rhys.

1 Stanway’s Ch Waystaff Strikes Back, r/w pied, super head, neat ears, dark eye, correct bite, good width of muzzle & underjaw, well muscled shoulders, straight front, short coupled, level topline on the move, well muscled rearend, good bend of stifle, alert & on his toes, this dog owned the ring, moved & handled well, deserved CC & BOB;

2 Lawrenson’s Ch Crossguns Tom Jones, mahogany brindle of superb quality, good strong powerful head, neat ears, dark eye, good strength of muzzle, clean scissor bite, good straight front, level topline. Longer in body than 1, but having good strength in the rearend & moved well;

3 Booth & Grimwood’s Foxstaff Off The Richter with Ramblestaff.

1 Williams’ Ch Eclypstaff Sheza Trouble, b/b in top condition despite age, strong feminine head, good ear carriage, dark eye, clean scissor bite, short coupled, good front & rearend, moved & handled well;

2 Funnell’s Knockon Minerva Of Powerpack, b/b in good condition for age, good head shape, but having longer muzzle than 1. Near ears, clean scissor bite, good straight front, good depth of brisket, good hindquarters, moved well.

MPB (2,1)

1 Stanway, McCuloch & Russell’s Waystaff Dutch Pearl, white with good head shape, neat ears, dark eye, nice feminine expression, nice straight front. Still developing, but having good muscletone. Moved well, one to look out for in the future.

PB (13,3)

1 Reid & Booth’s Ramblestaff Take On Me, b/b, lovely expression, neat ears, clean scissor bite, dark eye, good straight front, level topline, good rearend, good bend of stifle, moved well, should do well in the future. BP;

2 Booth & Grimwood’s Ramblestaff Jorja On My Mind, b/b with a lovely expression, neat ears, dark eye, good width of muzzle & underjaw, clean scissor bite, straight front, good depth of brisket, level topline, moved well. Preferred outline of 1, but should do well;

3 Gray’s Seastaff Sirius at Bullmaple.

1 Norton’s Mintmar Look Again for Tikkurilun, b/b, superb feminine expression, good head shape, neat ears, dark eye, excellent muzzle & underjaw, in superb fit condition, straight front, level topline, good bend of stifle, moved well, a close call for RCC, one to watch out for;

2 Raynsford’s Caribbean Coco at Raynstaff, b/b, a little shorter in the leg than 1, but having good head shape. Near ears, dark eye, clean scissor bite, nice front, short coupled with level topline & strong rearend, moved well;

3 King’s Kylorda Kazashi.

YB (11,3)

1 Turner’s Trawden Snowball, r/w, beautiful little bitch, super expression, neat ears, dark eye, clean scissor bite, good strength of head & muzzle, nice front, short coupled, good depth of brisket. Still a little nervous in the ring. In the future this bitch should be one to watch out for;

2 Weiss’ Jch Eye Of The Tiger Great N Glory, b/b, nice expression, good width of skull & muzzle, dark eyes, neat ears, clean scissor bite, good straight front, well muscled body, moved well;

3 Pearce’s Tigerbull Nessun Dorma.

LB (17,4) 1 Jackson & Whitehouse’s Bourtie Wot A Steal, b/b, superb quality bitch, strong but feminine head, super expression, excellent ear carriage, dark eye, good width of muzzle, strong underjaw, clean shoulder & body shape, level topline, excellent rearend, standing foursquare, looked stunning, in excellent condition, a credit to her owner & breeder, deserved CC;

2 Pearce’s Inkastaff Midnight Chaos at Bullhawk, b/b, super quality bitch, excellent expression, neat ears, dark eye, good width of muzzle & underjaw, excellent front & body, well muscled & level topline, moved well. Just preferred expression of 1, but this bitch should do well;

3 Wild’s Wildstaff Jo Black.

1 Lowe & Hedge’s Ramblix Revisionist at Khanspride, b/b, excellent quality bitch, super feminine alert expression, good width of skull & muzzle with strong underjaw, neat ears, dark round eye, clean scissor bite, good straight front, good shoulders & body shape, level topline on the move, good well muscled rearend;

2 Baxter’s Ch Zakstaff Black Velvet, b/b of super quality, moving up to open which was a difficult class, outstanding, feminine head, excellent ear carriage, dark eyes, good width of muzzle, clean scissor bite, excellent front, good lay of shoulders, good depth of brisket, level topline, nicely boned legs with no weakness in the pasterns. A bitch I have liked for a long time, but preferred the movement of 1;
