STAFFORD NAT DOG SHOW 09 Judge: Mrs Karon Jackson STAFFORDSHIRE BULL JUDGE NAT DOG SHOW 09 Staffordshire Bull Terriers So many quality representatives of our breed. The majority were of good quality & the competition in some of the classes was extremely high, & to use a cliché so often dismissed as lip service in some classes, there actually weren’t enough cards to acknowledge the quality present. I endeavoured to examine every exhibit with the same consideration & judged them all as individuals within their class, looking at merits & attributes rather than the negative. All of the animals I have critiqued have good dentition; overall I actually found very few exhibits that had mouth faults. The one thing that did become evident was the dirty condition of some coats; surely as a promoter & exhibitor it is in your best interest to present your charges in clean condition at the very least. My decisions were of honest opinion on the day & were not swayed by previous opinions of others; nor did I feel pressured or intimidated by predictions.
