STAFFORDSHIRE BULL JUDGE SOUTHERN COUNTIES 09

Staffordshire Bull Terriers

All had very good scissor mouths, just a couple with a tooth misplaced. All exhibits in very good condition & had very clean shinning coats. It was a pleasure to go over them & it was a credit to the owners for all the hard work they had put in to get them in such fit & first class condition.

1 Scarlett & Reid’s Ramblestaff Ebenezer Good, 8½ months, dark brindle puppy dog, nice shaped head, defined stop, neat ears & good expression & bite, dark round eye, ample brisket & rib for age, straight front, level topline, bent stifle, handled well, moved well for a puppy;

2 Asker’s Dazmarnic Don’t Tell Um, tiger/br, excellent head, dark round eye, well placed ears, defined stop, ample brisket for age, good topline, well padded feet, moved well;

3 Longley’s Emperorstaff Coronett Gold.

1 Connelly’s Mintmar Just The Man, 10½ months, dark br/w, outstanding head, rose ears set well, dark round eye, ample underjaw, good front & feet, nice length of coupling & lightness of loin, stifle well bent, good pump handle tail, good rib for age, moved & handled well, litter brother to 1 in PB. BP;

2 Robinson & Hedges’ Leger We Stand United at Ramblix, 11 months b/br/w, very close decision between 1 & 2, good compact dog with good balance, good head with neat ears, good cheek muscles, straight front, well off for rib, level topline, moved well when he settled on second walk;

3 Wall’s Goldwyn Our Kid.

1 Braggins’ Sansparields The Democrat, b/br/w, strong head with defined stop, well placed rose ears, round dark eye, good stop & underjaw, very clean front, good dentition, nice tight feet which was well padded, handled well;

2 Marachowski’s Kalols Black Magic at Passernomen, b/br/w, neat head, giving typical expression, good strength to muzzle, straight front, depth to brisket, ample bone, short back, nice bend to stifle, good condition, moved & handled well;

3 Johnson & Andrews’ Tillcarr Renegade Flame.

1 Dewar’s Euphemia Drummer Boy, dark brindle, strong head shape set off with neat ears, good cheek bumps, tight & clean lips, strong underjaw, turn out in good show condition, nicely tucked up, not overdone, moved & shown very well;

2 Jones & Whelan’s Maxsta Hot Shot, dark br/w, compact dog with good balanced body, rose ears, round eye, strong neck on well placed shoulders, good expression, nice forequarters, nice turn to stifle, moved well;

3 Langford’s Advocates Guvnor for Valenzo.

1 Wollett’s Ashstock Red Miller, lovely r/w, nice Standard size, showing strong muzzle & excellent bite, well set & carried rose ears, giving good expression, good brisket, well boned legs, short back, level topline, moved well.

1 Lawrenson’s Crossguns Tom Jones, br/w, head of correct proportion, good ear placement, round eye shape, deep through skull, correct bite, tight lips, good legs & feet, nice front, good quarters with good bend of stifle, correct tail carriage, moved & handled well. DCC;

2 Summer’s Jewelstaff Kubia Khna, dark br/w, excellent specimen, short blunt muzzle with correct bite, strong underjaw, strong neck going into well placed shoulders, close coupled, bent stifle, moved well;

2 Rhodes & Faxall’s Teracota Hells Angel, very close decision between 1 & 2, compact dog with good balanced body, rose ears, round eye, strong neck, good expression, nice turn to stifle;

3 Moore & Cullum’s Dynastaff Jack The Lad.

1 Ford’s Valglo Jeffs Choice, br/w, excellent head not overdone, showing broad skull, strong muzzle with correct scissor bit with large teeth, well set rose ears, good expression, good cheek bumps, deep stop, good straight well boned front which had a deep brisket, nice short back with nice tuck-up, nice length of coupling, well sprung ribs, strong compact body, strong hind quarters, level topline, correct pump handled tail, well padded feet, moved & handled well. CC & BOB;

2 Stanway’s Ch Waystaff Strikes Back, pied, strong class very close decision, just preferred the overall balance of 1, clean body outline, good expression, dark eye, short coupled body with well let down rear end, good bend of stifle, good tail carriage, moved & handled well;

3 Mace & Davies’ Ch Stormbull Solo.

1 Rose’s Buddastaff Orange Princess, 11 years r/w bitch, a credit to her breeder/owner for the condition this bitch is in, feminine head, dark eye, good front & brisket, still has her level topline, short coupled, bent stifle, moved well;

2 Funnell’s Knockon Minerva of Powerpack, 8½ years dark brindle bitch, in very good condition for her age, coat still shining, good shaped head with rose ears, dark eye, good mouth, straight front, bent stifle, moved well.

) 1 Badenhorst’s Ramblestaff Fanny F’Nakapan, little more mature than 2, nice head shape set off with rose ears, round dark eye, good stop & muzzle, scissor bite, ample boned & ribbed for age, straight front, level topline, moved well;

2 McClements’ Jolihem Podgy Pogle, 6¾ months, r/w with dark mask, feminine head set off with rose ears, defined stop, scissor bite, nice front, ample bone, dark round eye, bent stifle, moved well, could change places with 1 any day. Just needs time to mature a little more;

3 Booth & Grimwood’s Ramblestaff Jorja On My Mind.

2 Raynsford’s Caribbean Coco at Raynstaff, 9½ months, dark br/w, nice shaped head with short foreface, dark eye, neat rose ears, deep stop, strong muzzle, nice front, moved well;

3 Streeter’s Sharoc Dark Jewel.

1 Jackson & Whitehouse’s Bourtie Wot A Steal, dark brindle, compact bodied bitch with typical head shape, standing foresquare, neat tidy ears, clean bite, well boned front which was straight, level topline, barrel ribs, moved well;

2 Simpson’s Briganah Black Orchid, dark brindle, another good bitch in sparkling condition, nice shaped body, good head, neat ears, dark round eye, short neck, good bite, good bend to stifle, good tail carriage, moved well;

3 Hirst & Bibby’s Taraiel Trinity.

1 Wall’s Ch Jupiters Destiny, red with dark muzzle, strong headed bitch with short muzzle, defined stop, tight lips & scissor bite, rose ears, deep brisket, nice barrel rib, well boned legs, powerful backend, topline which was level she kept on the move or standing, standing foresquare, moved & handled well. CC;

2 Smart & Pritchard’s Arnham Twice As Nice, r/w, good head shape, set off with rose ears, dark round eye, good stop, scissor bite, straight front with well boned legs, good spring of rib, loins tuck up, bent stifle, moved well. RCC;

3 Smart’s Arnham Nice N Feisty.
