THE AUSTRALIAN TERRIER CLUB OF GREAT BRITAIN OPEN SHOW – 27 MARCH 2022
I would like to thank the committee for the invitation to judge & the exhibitors for giving me the opportunity to judge their exhibits. For the BIS challenge I had two quality exhibits before me & the decision was a close one, the male Silhill Super Trouper winning on showmanship over the bitch today.

JD (1)

1. Jones’ Wyesfon Eternity Flame. Strong head proportions, dark eye, correct scissor bite. Great ear carriage giving alert expression. Good length of neck and well laid-back shoulders, level top line with tail set on high. Moved straight fore and aft, pleased to award him RBD

PG (2)

1. Blagden & McIntosh’s Millvalley Blue Surprise. Very alert expression, head of equal proportions, strong muzzle & good dentition. straight front legs and good bone, Ribs well sprung, would prefer tail-set to be a little higher. Good bend of Stifle & moved out well, In the challenge for RBD I preferred the overall balance of the

1. Leeson’s Amberush I’m Still Standing. Another strong head, black nose, dark eye, alert ear carriage & strength in muzzle. Good length of neck, correct shoulders, excellent top line and tail carriage. Unsettled on the move today.

OD (1)

1. McCourt & Cawdell-Owen’s Silhill Super Trouper. This dog has a striking stance saying look at me. Super balance, great head, neck of good length. Well placed shoulders, plenty of death to chest. Tabletop top-line, high tail carriage. Good turn of stifle and well-muscled rear. Moved effortlessly around the ring expertly handled as always. Very pleased to award BD & BIS

JB (2:1a)

1. Stoddart & Skelton’s Millvalley Miss Muffet. I see this one is a daughter of my BB. Lovely expression, great ear position and carriage. Correct dentition with strong muzzle. Lovely flow of neck into good shoulders, front legs straight and well boned. Good top line and tail carriage, moved out well, pleased to award her RBB, one to watch in the future.

NB (1)

1.  Leeson’s Amberush You Are My Sunshine. Black nose, dark eye, equal proportions to head with flat skull. Good length of neck, flowing into correct shoulder placement. Adequate rear angulation, just a little unsettled on the move today. Good overall balance.

OB (1)

1. Ch/Ir Ch Millvalley Classical Red. great head with exact proportions, fabulous expression. Strong neck flowing into excellent shoulders, good front and depth. Another with super level top line and high tail carriage. Lovely turn of stifle and well-muscled rear quarters. Moved out with drive. Pushed the dog extremely hard for BIS, pleased to award BB, BOS & RBIS
