AUSTRALIAN TERRIER CLUB OF GREAT BRITAIN

Australian Terriers

I was greatly honored to be invited to judge the Australian Terrier Club Show after numerous years of being associated with the Club and the breed. The show has retained the warm friendly atmosphere which sets the scene for an enjoyed show and judging.

There was a nice entry of 30 dogs making 31 entries which indicate the sign of the time as this used to be entry for dogs alone. My thanks go to the officers and committee for the hospitality, my stewards Max King and Paula Meacham and most of all the exhibitors for their entry.

I was pleased with the overall quality of the exhibits, but my one concern is we are loosing the relatively small dark eye for the larger full eye which alters the type and expression of the Aussie.
