AUSTRALIAN BIRMINGHAM NATIONAL 22 Judge: Mr Nick Connell AUSTRALIAN JUDGE BIRMINGHAM NATIONAL 22 JD (1) 1 Blagdon & McIntosh’s Millvalley Blue Surprise. Heavier type who has correctly placed ears, a decent forehand, straight and well boned fore legs, level topline and nicely angulated quarters. He is a touch wide in his brisket and moves wide going away. 1 Nottingham & Dunbar’s Ch Ruarokatiro Born To Run. A nicely balanced male who was presented in excellent condition. He has a typical head and expression, enough neck into shoulders set at the desired angle and a correct length and return of upper arm which frames his developed forechest. He has a level topline and his ribs extend back to his short and strong loin. His quarters are correctly angulated and conditioned for muscle tone. He moves true behind, although a tad loose in front. CC & BOB. 2 Taylor & Taylor’s Wilfnbell Barney’s Blue. A different type to the winner who has a typical head and front assembly, although he is a touch wide in his forechest. Level topline, ribs extend well back and his quarters are well developed in muscletone. His topline is level and his quarters are nicely angulated. He was in between coat and was handled to a high standard. I preferred the eyes and expression of the winner. RCC. 1 Pinkerton’s Ruarokatiro Lollipop With Bareve (ai)/ A lovely baby who is raw as you would expect at this age, but she has bag fulls of potential. Her head and expression are typical, her shoulders are set at the desired angle and she has the correct ratio and angulation of upper arm, framing her developing forechest. Her topline is level and her quarter angles mirror her front assembly. She was presented in super condition and moves true both fore and aft. She had a tendency to look up at her handler when moving, which attributes to her front movement appearing a little loose. RCC & BPIB. 2 Rogerson, Conway & Oakden’s Zarin Zitha Vom Zerbster Schloss (Imp Deu) RAF. Decent head proportions, shoulders well laid back and her ribs extend well back. She moved true both fore and aft. 1 Nottingham & McCourt’s Ruarokatiro Top of the Pops (AI). A lovely puppy who has an exquisite head with a copy book expression. Her neck is of a good length and flows into a super fore hand and her topline is level with a good tail set. Her quarters are well angulated and she portrays a balanced outline. She was presented in super condition and moved true both ways. 1 Stoddart & Skelton’s Millvalley Miss Muffet. Typical head of correct proportions, long neck into shoulders set at the correct angle, straight fore legs and good feet, level topline and correctly angulated quarters. Presented in super condition and moved soundly both fore and aft. 1 Tyrrell & Foskett’s Fre Ruarokatiro Red Roisin For Wilfnbell (AX2). A lovely type who has a good head and correctly placed ears. She is a little bold in eye which impedes her expression. Elegant neck into a good front assembly, level topline and her ribs extend well back. Her quarters are nicely angulated and well developed and she was presented in great order. Moved soundly both ways. 1 Jones’ Wyeafon Private Illusion. A lovely bitch who is typical and balanced.
