AUSTRALIAN BLACKPOOL 11 Judge(s) MRS F A SOMERFIELD DCC CH/AM CH MILLVALLEY RED RUFUS (MISS S G STODDART) Australian Terriers LD (1) 1 Cabourn’s Spitewinter Cosmos at Blujon, very nice youngster, on his toes keeping a good outline. Pleasing head & eyes, good body & ribs, splendid hindquarters moving & standing, in good coat. A nice size & well balanced OD (3) 1 Stoddart’s Ch/Am Ch Millvalley Red Rufus, very good red, good head, excellent ears & eyes giving that lovely Aussie expression. Good neck, shoulders, topline & tail, nice colour, moved & showed well. CC & BOB; 2 Ahola & Hyvonen’s Sw Ch Jaskarin Peperencino, impressive red, very pleasing but I just preferred 1 in size. Good head & expression, pleasing topline & tailset, very good front. Not moving as well behind today. Good coat & colour. RCC. PB (1) 1 Jones’ Wyeafon Illusion In Red, showy red who made the best of herself. Pleasing head, lovely eyes, good neck, topline & tailset, nice bone & limbs. Needs time for coat & she is big enough for her age. BP. YB (2) 1 Habershon’s Spitewinter Tiger Lily, full of terrier spirit, nice head & eyes, good neck, shoulders, topline & tailset, firm hindquarters, moved OK; 2 Small’s Bethane Sheza Looka, red, typical head, nice neck, shoulders & topline. Not just as pleasing in knuckles & pasterns, needs a little more substance generally. LB (2) 1 Skelton’s Millvalley Poosie Nancy, feminine, good eyes. Could have a little more strength in underjaw. Nice neck, shoulders & topline, pleasing size, shape & balance. RCC. OB (5) 1 Stoddart’s Am Ch Temora’s The Simple Life, strong bitch who is big enough & could be more feminine. Good body & ribs, well carried ears, in good coat, outmoved & outshowed her opposition today. CC; 2 Skelton’s Brimartz Catch Me If You Can, basically well made & feminine but not so good in ears & coat not at its best; 3 Jones’ Wyeafon Sugar N Spice. FERELITH SOMERFIELD |
