AUSTRALIAN CRUFTS 14 Australian Terrier Judge(s): MRS S McCOURT
AUSTRALIAN JUDGE CRUFTS 14 Australian Terriers VD & PD (0). JD (2) 1 Jones’ Wyeavon Fiery Dancer, lovely young red dog who has that springy Aussie gait. Good head, nice intelligent dark eye full of terrier mischief. Has a lovely crested neck which flows into good shoulders & firm topline. Good hindquarters & tailset, well deserved his RCC; 2 Leeson’s Amberush Walking On Sunshine, not as happy as 1st & failed in topline. PGD (0). LD (1) 1 Cabourn’s Spitwinter at Blujon, smart sound dog with good colour, moves very well & shown in very good condition & well presented. OD (6) 1 Reiman-Wallden and Thornblads Ch Jaskarin Magic Eyes, took my eye when he entered the ring & only impressed me more on handling this lovely dog. He has a well proportioned head with neat ears, crested neck, excellent shoulders & the firmest of toplines. Well muscled hindquarters, good tailset. A wonderful example of a well presented Aussie. Very well handled & well deserved his CC & BOB, I felt he was unlucky not to be shortlisted in the group; 2 Averis’ Aus Ch Cliftop Gunna Be A Star, well presented red dog in good coat, just a little feminine throughout for me, not as positive in movement as winner; 3 Skelton’s Ch Millvalley Scotch Mist. GCD (0). VB (4) 1 Foskett, Tyeewl & Freer’s Shasakin Belyndi Rhumboogie, shown in first class order, nice head & eye, good firm topline which she kept on the move, very sound; 2 Stoddart’s Ch Millvalley Diva, another shown in good order, just did not have the sparkle of winner; 3 Jackson’s Wilfnbell Ms American Pie. PB (3) 1 Stoddart’s Jumpers Highness of Millvalley, in good coat for age, very confident for her first time in this lovely big ring, moved out well. BP; 2 Leeson’s Armirelli Evergreen Lady, not in such bloom as winner, good length, nice head; 3 Cox’s Millvalley Simply Blue Pettipaws. JB (3) 1 Siversson’s Mongrels Enjoy My One And Only, red in good coat & condition, firm topline, good hindquarters, moved well; 2 Leeson’s Amberblush Quick As A Flash, nice head & topline, moved well; 3 Mitchell’s Blue Boomerrangs Heaven Sent. PGB (3,1) 1 Leeson’s Millvalley Red Coral, nice red bitch in good body, good topline, moved well; 2 Chatham’s Chathams La Citline Chanel, nice enough bitch but was just so fine she bordered on a toy. LB 1 Cook’s Wilfnbells Miss Mulberry, looked very smart today, shown in good coat. She has a pleasing head, very good topline & moved really well; 2 Leeson’s Armirelli Secret Code, better in front than winner but lost out on coat & condition. OB (5) What a strong class. 1 Jones’ Wyeavon Illusion In Red, & she is, she has a lovely dark red jacket. Has a good head & eye, crested neck, good shoulder placement, firm topline & is well muscled behind with a good bit of dog behind the tail. She moved really well & I was pleased to award her the CC in this very strong class; 2 Thornbland’s Hoksel Olympia Yjis, one pushed the winner very hard, she is a lovely bitch shown in good bloom. Has a very good front assembly. Firm topline. Strong hindquarters & moved well. RCC; 3 Stoddart’s Temoras Photo Finish. GCB (1) 1 Cox’s Spitwinters Causing Chaos at Pettipaws, this one always enjoys her day out & is a good ambassador for the breed. SUE McCOURT |
