AUSTRALIAN JUDGE DARLINGTON 21

JD (1)

1. Jones’ Blue Blake Von Den Grauen Anfureten At Wyeafon. Smart masculine blue and tan
youngster. Decent forehand, nicely arched neck, long strong body and well-muscled hindquarters
with good tail set which gives a very pleasing breed typical outline. Attractive head, with dark
keen eyes, neat ears and strong jaws. An active mover with a nice springy gait, retaining his
outline well on the move, one to watch.

PGD (2)

1. Blagden & McIntosh’s Millvalley Blue Surprise. A strong biggish masculine blue and tan dog of
good type, balanced head with small dark eyes with a keen expression. Good bone and
substance, well made body, muscular hindquarters and well set tail. Would like a little more
length of body. Coat not at his best and rather black at the moment. Moved freely with easy
spring gait.

2. Leeson’s Amberush I'm Still Standing. More mature blue and tan dog, with a pleasing overall
size and outline. Decent head with well-placed ears and good strength of muzzle. Nice reach of
neck, well laid shoulders and firm topline. Coat needs a tidy up to give a better outline, and tans
were not as rich as the winner. Moved out with some drive from behind, if he could be moved a
little faster he would be able to demonstrate a more forceful gait.

LD (1)

1. Cawdell-Owen & McCourt’s Silhill Super Trouper, RDCC. This showy red boy has a lovely
head and expression, well placed dark eyes, strong muzzle all giving a keen alert expression.
Slight arch to neck which fits nicely into well laid shoulders, firm topline and well-muscled
hindquarters. He impressed for his breed typical outline and overall balance. Expertly presented
with correct harsh textured coat. Moved out freely with typical springy gait. Close up in the
challenge, just felt the winner was a little more finished overall.

OD (1)

1. Nottingham & Dunbar’s Ruarokatiro Born To Run. DCC & BOB. Such a smart red boy with
great ring presence, he immediately appeals for his breed typical outline and overall balance.
Masculine head, with a keen terrier outlook, well placed ears and dark eyes. Reachy neck fitting
nicely into well laid shoulders, well sprung ribs, strong topline and muscular hindquarters. His
coat was expertly presented and of correct harsh texture. Came into his own on the move, moved
freely with a forceful springy gait. On this form I would have thought he should get made up fairly
easily. In the BOB challenge, I thought that his drive from the rear and this coupled with his keen
showmanship gave him the edge today.

PB (1)

1. Leeson’s Amberush It's Raining Men. BPIB. Feminine little blue and tan girl, attractive head
with enough length and strength, good ear placement and strong dentition. Ample reach of neck,
leading into well laid shoulders, firm level topline and well-angulated rear. Coat could do with a bit
of tidying up to show her off to her potential and could carry a little more weight to advantage. In
the challenge for BP, thought she moved better than her sibling with a positive springy action.

JB (1)

1. Leeson’s Amberush You Are My Sunshine. Red litter sister to PB winner, has the makings of a
very nice example of the breed with a good length of body, nice reach of neck, well angulated
hindquarters and tail set on well. Could carry a bit of weight to advantage and coat needs a bit of
tidying up but texture was good. Feminine head, with good skull to muzzle proportions and
correct dentition. Moved out well enough, just needs a touch more confidence to enable her to
get more into her stride.

PGB (1)
1. Leeson’s Amberush It Had To Be You. Red girl, who on closer examination is a really nice
example of the breed, nicely balanced and correct for size. Lovely feminine head with strength to
muzzle, nice dark eyes all giving a pleasing expression. Well off for bone, chest deep, well ribbed
back, firm in topline and well angulated in hindquarters. Good coat texture which with a bit more
attention to presentation, would enable her to do some useful winning, moved out with positively
and with drive.
LB (3)

1. Cawdell-Owen’s Millvalley True Blue. RBCC. Headed a strong class, well-proportioned smart
blue and tan girl of excellent type and quality. Feminine head with good skull to muzzle
proportions, well placed ears and keen dark eyes. Decent forehand with a nicely arched neck,
long strong body and well-muscled hindquarters with good tail set giving her a pleasing breed
typical outline. Well prepared coat which is of correct harsh texture. Eye catching on the move
with a free and easy springy gait, looked particularly good in profile.

2. Jones’ Wyeafon Private Illusion. This quality blue and tan girl will be one to watch. Attractive
balanced head with keen terrier expression. Good forehand, slight arch to neck fitting nicely into
well laid shoulders, well ribbed, firm level topline and well developed hind quarters. Very well
presented coat of correct texture. Had her mind on other things at times, but moved out soundly.

3. McCourt’s Silhill Angel Eyes

OB (1)

1. Stoddart’s Sh Ch Millvalley Classical Red. BCC. Top quality showy red girl, loved her size and
balanced breed typical outline. Feminine head of excellent proportions with strength to muzzle
and jaw and a lovely keen expression. Very good forehand, reachy neck fitting nicely into well
laid shoulders, well sprung ribs, strong topline, muscular hindquarters and tail set on well.
Expertly presented with correctly textured coat. Handled to advantage too. On her toes, she had
a very attractive profile action with an easy springy gait. In the BOB challenge, I just felt the dog
had a tad more body condition and was a touch more positive going away but it was a close
decision.
