PD (1)

1 BP, McCourt, Eardley & O’Reilly’s Silhill Red Crackle, good head shape, lengthy muzzle & uses his neat ears well. Beautifully muscled for a puppy & this shows in his powerful movement. Good harsh coat, well bodied & nicely ribbed back. Fairly well angulated front & rear. Very promising indeed. Wish his tail was straighter but it is set well.

OD (4)

1 CC & BOB, Seaton’s Grand Ch Temora Ri Deircc, a very handsome dog. He is a little too big & maybe ears could be smaller but I loved his head & expressive eyes. Good neck, super body & quarters, steady topline, good legs & feet, beautifully turned out with hard coat with ruff & apron, super mover all round;

2 RCC, Jones’ Silhill Private Collection at Wyeafon, nicely proportioned & good height to length. Not quite the undercoat of 1 on the day but also admired his head & ears. OK in front, well bodied & certainly powerful in rear;

3 McCourt & Eardley’s Wilfnbell Red Fanatic at Sherex.

PB (1)

1 RCC, Jones’ Wyeafon Czarina, ‘whizzy’ little bitch, full of herself, promising for skull & foreface strength, reasonable front. Just a little short in upper arm. Nicely bodied & well ribbed for age, good quarters & sound & free moving. Very in between puppy & adult coat on the day. Very attractive temperament & personality.

JB (2,1a)

1 Skelton & Stoddart’s Millvalley Blue Persimmon, another bouncy youngster, full of life. Good head shape & eye position. Enough neck, reasonable front. A little low at the withers. Good topline & powerful rear, OK in bone. Feet can still tighten a touch more. Moved well if a little bouncy.

LB (1)

1 Stoddart’s Millvalley Prima Donna, a bit jerky moving & could be a lot smoother on the move. Pleasing head, good strong jaws, needs more forechest & upper arm slope, good coat, ruff & apron, enough bend of stifle & nicely fit to go over.

OB (2)

1 CC, O’Reilly’s Silhill Royal Blue, good size & proportions. A little weak in foreface. Backskull length & width OK, lovely front, bone & super tight compact feet. OK in body & level hard backline. Good quarters. Would like her back coat to be less jet black but she has blue on neck & over stilfles. Excellent mover;

2 Foskett, Tyrrell & Freer’s Silhill Stelata, strong foreface but eyes a little too round. Reasonable front. Lacks a little upper arm slope. Great body & better ribbing than 1. Moving very wide going away. Super coat colour & presentation.
