AUSTRALIAN LEEDS 22 Judge: Mr Frank Kane A small entry numerically but no problem with finding quality exhibits for the green and white cards .Fronts and front action remain the major criticism. Many thanks to my stewards Jim Murdoch and Martin Granwood. 1 Ch Ruarokatiro Born To Run, stood out here and pleased me with his topline, proportions and balance.Good coat and colour. Good head shape, eye could be a little smaller. Excellent tailset and carriage. I might prefer a bit more of him but he is full of type and quality.CC and BOB. 2 Ch Temora The Hawk, a bigger stamp. I liked his head and expression and good ears sturdy bone. Good coat and colours. Not the front action or topline of the winner. Reserve CC. 3 Millvalley Blue Surprise PB 1 Ruarokatiro Lollipop With Bareve. 9 months old and probably the best mover in the entry, wonderfully accurate at both ends. I hope she might come up on the leg a little yet...but she is well made throughout with good head proportions. Dark eyes. Just enough bone for her size. Movement, topline and carriage were all very impressive and took her to the Reserve CC and Best Puppy 1 Rusrokatira Top Of The Pops 9 months litter sister and at the other end of the size scale, accentuated by carrying too much wight on the day and looking heavy. She has a lovely head and moved with good use of her hocks. Scored in topline and underline here. Will look more balanced when she is in firm condition. 2 Millvalley Miss Muffet, 14 months. Good size and proportions but needs to fill her frame now. Liked her head and eye for size and shape and colour, but at the moment she is a real teenager in tne body looking cut up in underline and not as finished in chest. Lovely coat. O 1 Ch Ir Ch Millvalley Classical Red, feminine quality bitch who appealed to me most here for balance and front action. She carried herself well. Feminine head of good shape and proportions and a good eye. Correct coat texture. Went well. CC. 2 Silhill Angel Eyes 2 year old quality bitch a little stronger in build and body than the winner. She was carrying a lot of coat on the day which didnt help her.Correct head shape and good bone. Firm topline. Front action could be better. 3 Millvalley True Blue 1 Ir Ch Spitewinter A Fond Kiss For Millvalley. 7 year old obviously enjoying her retirement with a fuller figure. Appealling head and expression.
