AUSTRALIAN JUDGE NATIONAL TERRIER 15

Australian Terriers

I have not judged the Aussies in the UK for several years. Thank you for the entries. Not a huge entry & sadly very much a sign of the times.

PD (1)

1 Willmett’s Wilfnbell Midnight Cowboy, promising youngster who is well grown with good bone, super topline, good neck & a nice tail. Assertive temperament. A touch heavy in skull for me.

JD (1)

1 Tams’ Temora’s Rhapsody In Blue, nice young bl/t boy with good quarters & decent drive. Lovely temperament & well used ears. Rising a bit over the loin at the moment & hopefully this is just an age thing. Well presented & handled.

PGD (2)

1 Bevan & Kyte’s Millvalley Blue Nijinsky, a bit bigger than I like & a touch strong in head. Beautifully groomed & presented & has settled down such a lot in the ring. His owners have obviously put in some hard work. Well done;

2 Leeson’s Amberush Walkin On Sunshine, better size, & a nice tan. Was a bit nervy today making him dip in topline. Will look a lot better with more confidence.

OD (4)

1 Smith’s Ch/Gr Ch Temora Ri Diercc, this fully mature red came in to the class meaning business. He was trimmed intelligently & presented with a bit of glamour. One of the best male heads on show today & moved with purpose. I would prefer a little more forechest & body length. He won the CC with a bit in hand;

2 Jones’ Ch Silhill Private Collection at Wyeafon, the richest of tans on this lovely headed boy. He certainly looked hard bitten & presented a good outline. Seemed to have blown some of his furnishings which pegged him against the winner. RCC;

3 Skelton’s Ch Millvalley Scotch Mist.

MPB (1)

1 Bell’s Melukylan Passi-On for Belyndi, 8 months & still quite raw. Good coat texture & a decent tan. Nice outgoing temperament.

PB (1)

1 West & Rogers’ Wilfnbell Irma La Deuce, good proportions on this young lady, she had a super outline & a really good neck, tail in the right place, well groomed & handled & is showing lots of promise.

JB (1)

1 Jones’ Wilfnbell Girl On Fire via Wyeafon, pretty girl showing good promise. Super head, feminine but not weak. Decent length of body & good neck which meant that she had a good outline standing & moving. Super topline on the move. Coat just starting to blow. RCC & BP.

PGB (1)

1 Foskett, Tyrrell & Freer’s Wilfnbell Red G’day Sheela, biggish girl who has a good outline & lovely feet, nicely headed & has a decent coat starting to come through. Is still a bit in between & is obviously a slow maturer.

LB (1)

1 Skelton & Stoddart’s Millvalley Blue Persimmon, this young lady is much improved. She is a showy sort & was in lovely coat & condition, good colour, well presented. Topline not her fortune. Close up for RCC.

OB (2)

1 Foskett, Tyrrell & Freer’s Silhill Stelata, took my eye as soon as she came in to the ring as she has ideal proportions & a super neck & was groomed extremely well with lovely coat colour & texture. Beautiful head, level topline & really good in the rear. Was pleased to award her her third CC & then BOB. I was pleased to see her retained in the last 8 for BIS. Well done;

2 Stoddart’s Ch/Am Ch Temora’s The Simple Life, in remarkable coat & condition for her age & looked very sprightly. Just too long in foreface for my taste.
