AUSTRALIAN JUDGE NATIONAL TERRIER 16

Australian Terriers

A small entry but I had enough excellent dogs to enjoy my afternoon. I was looking for Australian Terriers who combined Standard with fitness to do a day’s work & enjoyment of being a show dog.

. JD (2)

1 Skelton’s Spitwinter Ooh Ah Henry, a hands on dog, he has a balanced head with dark pigmented eye, shoulders well laid back, deep forechest, level topline & sufficient angulation, moved well. RCC;

2 McCourt, Eardley & O’Rielly’s Silhill Barney Rubble, a more mature dog who is full of a us site temperament, an attractive type of dog with a harsh red jacket, not moving his best today.

PGD (1) A.

LD (1)

1 Willmett’s Wilfnbell Midnight Cowboy, well shaped head with a flat skull, arched neck which flows into well placed shoulders, good topline, I felt that for an overall balanced outlook he was a tad long in the loin, his jacket needs lots of work to bring through his new coat.

OD (3,2a)

1 McCourt, Eardley & O’Rielly’s Silhill Red Crackle, fell in love with this boy as a 10 week old baby & I am glad to see that he has fulfilled his potential & developed into the dog I always believed he would be, great proportioned head, dark almond eye, neat ears, arched long neck, well laid shoulders, level topline, tail set on. A balanced dog standing & on the move who never put a foot wrong. CC & BOB.

MPB (1)

1 Bath’s Amberbush It’s Magic over Gingerwych, an 8 month old b/t nervous baby girl, good bite & shape of eye, flat skull, level topline. One of my pet hates is an overweight dog & this young lady needs to lose weight, this may seem hard on the owners who are new to Aussies but I am thinking of the general health & fitness of the bitch.

PB & JB (0).

PB (1)

1 Freer’s Silhill Rock Chick with Wilfnbell, typical Aussies head with a varminty expression, harsh red coat, overall balance & movement would improve if not carrying excess weight, handled expertly by her young handler & I loved the sparkle shoes.

LB (2)

1 Foskett, Tyrella & Freer’s Wilfnbell Red Go Day Sheela, a well presented bitch who over the last 12 months has grown into herself, gaining confidence from her owner & handlers. Well proportioned head, flat skull, laid back shoulders, level topline with correct tailset, a harsh sandy coat, moved with drive around the ring in the bitch challenge & surprisingly my RCC;

2 Bell’s Melukylan Passi-On for Belyndi, a b/t girl just getting her new coat through, correct head, good shoulders, a lot to like about this girl but slightly carrying too much weight which seemed to affect her movement & charisma, I would like to see this young bitch enjoy herself while being shown by her handler.

OB (3)

1 Follett, Tyrell & Freer’s Christmas Silhill Stealth, came into the ring demanding attention, a lovely dark red bitch with correct head, neck, topline, tailset & moved out with purpose. CC;

2 McCourt’s Ch Silhill Royal Blue, have always loved this girl but she lost out to two bitches who shone on the day on overall performance, a b/t girl with the same attributes as her litter sister only in a smaller package;

3 Skelton’s Ch Millvalley Blue Persimmon.
