AUSTRALIAN WELSH KC 11 Judge: Mrs M Ruth Jones AUSTRALIAN JUDGE WELSH KC 11 Australian Terriers PD (2) 1 Skelton’s Millvalley Scotch Mist, pleasing for overall type & construction, good rich blue & tan, eye catching when standing, well proportioned head with good scissor bite; 2 Bell’s Farfadet Du Predes Valios avec Belyndi, sandy, correct scissor bite, level topline. Lost out on body proportion & front needs to tighten. JD (0). PGD (1) 1 Cabourn’s Spitewinter Cosmos at Blujon, lovely bl/t with a harsh jacket, good expression, correct bite, well sprung ribs & moved out well. LD (1) 1 Hardy’s Amhard Brag, rich bl/t, good length of muzzle to skull, medium sized ears, well proportioned body, strong topline with correct tailset, moved steadily away & back. OD (3) 1 Ahola & Hyvonen’s Sw Ch Jaskarin Peperonino, looked every inch a champion, well balanced throughout giving typical outline, groomed to perfection, not the easiest of dogs to handle. CC; 2 Foskett, Tyrell & Freer’s Hisnibb, although stronger than I would desire, good overall conformation with correct head proportions & expression, well placed ears, level topline & tailset, harsh red coat, well presented for RCC; 3 Jackson & Foskett’s Mistabert Red Rascal. PB & JB (0). PGD (3) 1 McCourt & Eardley’s Silhill Snap Dragon with Sherex, pretty red in good coat, lovely head with an oval dark eye, correct length of neck, level topline, unsettled in rear movement, not quite the finished article yet but must surely have a bright future; 2 Habershon’s Spitwinter Tiger Lily, nice type, well placed ears, fair all round construction, moved reasonably well. Just lacked that typical Aussie self-assurance; 3 Jackson’s Mistabert Nardones Scamp. LB (3) 1 Foskett’s Wilfnbell Uptown Girl, attractive well balanced, clear & sandy with dark pigmentation, keen intelligent expression, straight front, sound & active on the move, well presented for RCC; 2 McCourt’s Silhill Glamour Puss, stronger type than 1, pleasing head & expression on well arched neck, good angulation, cooperated well with handler & moved with drive fore & aft, excellent condition; 3 Skelton’s Millvalley Poosie Nancy. OB (2) 1 Bartolomeo’s Sillhill Fragola con Panna, not flashy but so well balanced, demands your attention when you get your hands on her, correct head proportions, elegant arched neck, good muscletone, moved with precision & never put a foot wrong. CC & BOB; 2 Skelton’s Brimartz Catch Me If You Can, a lot to like in this self-assured bl/t, correctly proportioned head, level firm topline, well sprung ribs, good outline on the move, well turned out.
