Bedlington Terriers

JD (3)

1 Davies’ Honeymist Indigo Blues, 12½ months, very collected picture, flowed round the ring with ease, good bite, nice big nose, good pear shaped head, good front, enough bone, well padded hare feet, good topline held on the move, strong quarters, moved soundly, low set tail. RBD;

2 Walshaw & Richardson’s Janmark Jeremiah, almost 12 months, good head & mouth, fine filbert ears, good front. A little longer cast than 1 & inclined to flatten on the move here. A nice one, but needs to mature. In a good jacket, well handled. BP;

3 Morris’ Honeymist Mellow Tone in Bluemazzu.

PGD (0).

OD (2)

1 Walshaw’s Ch Janmark Blue Encounter, good pear shaped head, scissor bite, well set eye, low set filbert ears of fine texture, good front, racy body with depth, good strong quarters, showed well. BD;

2 Cumming’s Rocabec Definitely Maybe, one that caught my eye previously from outside the ring, handy size, good head, bite & ear, good shoulder & front, good mid grey coat. Preferred topline & rear drive of 1, but it was a very wet & windy day.

JB (1)

1 Fletcher’s Nicnasus Sparkling Diamond, 11 months liver lady with beautiful eyes, good bite, pear shaped head, well placed filbert shaped ears, good body shape. Needs to mature & could do with a new coat. Time is on her side & a ringcraft class would help.

PGB (1)

1 McNally’s Aireview Cristal Blue, would prefer a slightly longer head. Good eye, mouth & ear, good body to height balance. Would prefer a flatter rib. Presented to a very high standard, in a good coat, steady mover. RBB.

OB (3)

1 Walshaw’s Janmark Misty Horizons, caught my eye at first look, feminine pear shaped head, good eye & ear, tidy front, good lithe body built on flowing lines with depth, strong quarters, low set tail, excellent dark blue coat of good texture. BB, BOB;

2 Davies’ Honeymist Midnight Star, only two months younger than 1, but not presented in the same hard condition or coat condition. Good pear shaped head, nice eye with sleepy expression, good bite & ears. The handler is inclined to overstretch this dog.
