BEDLINGTON JUDGE BOSTON 20

An enjoyable day judging a good entry of dogs, good to see old friends and to see new faces to the breed and hopefully they will endeavour to keep showing and get encouragement from more experienced show folk. Many thanks to all at the show.

PD (2)

1 Smiths Velvety Chocolate Drizzle. Well made young dog. Good strong head. Soft ears and eyes of correct colour and shape. Teeth perfect with good scissor bite. Moved well looked good from all angles. Tail set nice and low. Would have liked to see more colour in the coat.

2 Howells Dangerous De Ochopeniques (Imp Esp). Good head and strong jaw. Slightly thicker ears than I would have liked. Slightly long in back not a good top line on the move. Shown with plenty of coat. Again would have liked to have seen more colour in the coat.

OD (3 1)

1 Gillies Rhicullen Ronnie Mac. Beautiful head with silky topknot. Correct bite and eye set. Soft ears. Strong muscular body with good angulation. Moved very well in ring and definitely caught my eye.

2 Kinns Kinnuva Dark Sleekster. Sturdy little dog with good colour in coat. Nice deep chest and muscular body. Moved well.

SP

1 Howells Dangerous De Ochopeniques (Imp Esp).

PB (2)

1 Bannisters Miteymidgets Tiewie. Eye catching puppy bitch, narrow head with soft velvety ears. Good bite and silky topknot. Straight for legs and neat feet of correct shape. Good top line and tail set. Moved well enjoying her time being shown in the ring.

2 Jones Miteymidgets Little Hottie. Not a lot between 1st & 2nd, again beautiful young bitch. Good movement and angulation. Nice head and scissor bite. Good hindquarters and top line. Moved well in ring.

JB (1)

1 Jones Miteymidgets Little Hottie.

PGB (3)

1 Kinns Kinnuva Hawaiian Velvet. Liver bitch with good coat and colour. Narrow head with good set ears and correct eye colour. Soft topknot. Nice top line and tuck up. Correct hindquarters. Moved freely around ring.

2 Smiths Vakurblue Ship Of The Fens. Blue bitch with good coat colour. Straight front and nice top line. Good head with scissor bite and soft ears. Slightly heavier than 1st placed dog.

OB (4,1)

1 Smiths Vakurblue Magdalene. Nicely balanced bitch. Good coat and colour. Long head with lovely expression. Soft ears and good bite. Straight at front with deep chest and good angulation. Correct tail set.

SBB (2)

1 Godden’s Vakurblue Bacon Buttie. Nice bitch with lovely head and expression. Shown in good condition with dark eye and soft ears. Moved very well keeping the top line. Would have liked to have seen more colour.
