Bedlington Terriers

Most of the exhibits were new to me which made the comparisons interesting. A good sized ring enabled me to see movement to the full, no problems with mouths, teeth or feet & generally conformation was good.

VD (1)

1 Caine’s Burmington And Me Too, liver, in first class condition. I judged him as a puppy & thought then he was one to watch & he didn’t disappoint. Long lean head, good bite, large clean teeth, deep hazel eyes, dense coat beautifully groomed. Good reach of neck onto firm shoulders flowing onto muscular hindquarters, good tail carriage, well arched over loins, moved well & kept his racy outline. RBD.

PD (1)

1 Brady & Carter’s Tcheria Shenanigans, 11 months, good bone structure, well muscled for one so young, dark linty coat with white furnishings, good length of neck, shapely outline & nice tail carriage. Neat hare feet, walked well & kept his outline. One to watch as he matures. BP.

JD (1)

1 Graham’s Ruffsfurze Kazan, a little unsettled to start with but by careful persuasive tactics his handler brought out the best in him. Attractive young dog, in good coat, excellent trim, super head & mouth, thin ears, firm muscular body & hindquarters, correct tail carriage, deep brisket, excellent topline kept when moving.

OD (2)

1 Ames’ Sharnor Faithful Falcon, I first encountered this lovely dog two years ago as an 8 months puppy & thought at the time he would have a great future & I was not disappointed when I saw him. Lovely conformation & size, a perfect picture standing, super head, fine ears, firm shoulders, deep brisket, flat sides, well muscled hindquarters, correct tail carriage, neat hare feet, lovely mover, well handled & presented. BOB.

1 Bannister’s Miteymidgets Myaquila, super little 10 years bitch, looked so good for her age. Well balanced, perfect outline & such an appealing expression, in excellent coat, perfectly trimmed. Long lean head, good bite, deep set eyes, thin ears, racy outline, everything flowed from head to tail. Walked & handled well. A credit to her owners.

PB (1)

1 Bannister’s Miteymidgets Look Of Love, 8 months & in lovely condition, handled well, nice size & very attractive, lovely head, deep set eyes, coat soft, bone structure already developing into a racy outline. Walked well, great potential. One to watch as she develops.

JB (2)

1 Williams’ Ystwythbay Rhapsody In Blue, lovely sized bitch, in good dark coat, super head, good mouth, dark eyes, lengthy neck, firm shoulders, correct front, flat sides, good tail carriage. Walked well keeping her topline while moving;

2 Graham’s Ruffsfurze Beren, well balanced, quality bitch, litter sister to JD. In good coat but of lighter colour & texture to 1. Well trimmed, pleasing head & foreface, thin ears, firm sloping shoulders, deep chest, good bone structure, firm rear movement, carried tail correctly. Just preferred overall appearance of 1.

PGB (1)

1 Hewitt-Taylor’s Tobanie Earth Song, on her own but what a lovely picture. Good head, expressive eyes, good reach of neck onto well placed shoulders, deep chest, perfect angulation, neat hare feet, firm rear movement. Walked well & kept shape on the move.

OB (5)

1 Bannister’s Ch Miteymidgets Hawkers Cove, very attractive bitch, in excellent coat, lovely shape overall, good length of head, correct bite, fine ears, correct front, deep brisket, perfect angulation, firm rear action, tail carriage, kept topline, moved round the ring with drive. An absolute perfect example standing & on the move. BB;

2 Ames’ Ch Sharnor Emerald Electra, beautifully presented little bitch, well balanced in all respects, lovely head, deep set eyes, good bite, well set shoulders tapering to deep brisket & flat sides, well muscled rear quarters, kept topline & tailset on the move. Beautifully groomed. Just unfortunate to meet 1, could change places any time at future shows. RBB.
