BEDLINGTON DRIFFIELD 12 Judge: Mr Craig Richardson BEST OF BREED : 3878 CUMMING Mr & Mrs P Honeymist Blue Flame At Rocabec BEDLINGTON JUDGE DRIFFIELD 12 BEDLINGTON TERRIER I am pleased to say that there were no bad feet or mouths but dental hygiene or the lack of it was a concern to me. We still have a problem with high tails and this effected placing for the higher honours. Although low in numbers I think quality was on show today. JD(4) 1 Davies' Honeymist Sunny Delight. Good head with fine ears falling flat to the face, eyes of the correct size with plenty under them, long neck with well placed shoulders, nice flat ribcage. Good outline on the move. 2 Brady & Carter's Tcheria Shenanigans. Good size fine head and ears, in good coat, moved well, just preferred the front movement of first. 3 Walshaw & Richardson's Janmark Jeremiah. YD(2) 1 Walshaw & Richardson's Janmark Jeremiah. Good bone structure, good head and shoulders, fine ears, plenty of bone under the eyes, well presented, not a hair out of place. 2 Morris' Honeymist Mellow Tone In Bluemazzu. Good outline on the table, he just seemed to be unsettled on the day. Preferred the movement of one. PGD(1) 1 Davies' Honeymist Indigo Blue. Beautiful head, fine ears, lovely dark eyes of the correct shape and size. Low set hocks. Nice front and another one that was unsettled on the day. LD(2) 1 Cummings' Honeymist Blue Flame At Rocabec. CC & BOB. Correct size dog with good deep flat ribs, long lean neck, beautiful head with fine ears. Big white teeth, dark eyes, good front movement, low set hocks, moved with a purpose, kept his roach over the loin, presented perfectly. 2 Hall's Palm Of The Desert. Overall a good shaped dog, longer in the back than first. Deep, flat ribcage, moved well. OD(7) 1 Kiernan &Liu's Bisbee Ikatcher At Kierlander, RCC. The best presented dog of the day not a hair out of place, long, fine neck, lovely head, with good strong teeth, fine ears, dark eyes, deep, flat ribcage, correct sholders, moved well. 2 Cummings' Rocabec Definitely Maybe. Good sized dog, fine head with a lazy expression, long, lean neck, low set hocks. Moved with drive, well presented. 3 Walters & Mitchell's Ch Rathsrigg Millrace. MPB(1) 1 Bannister's Miteymidgets Look Of Love, BP. Perfect Bedlington head, deep deep dark eyes, with plenty under them, correct front movement, low set hocks, rear movement was faultless. Covered the ground well. PB(2) 1 Hoaksey's Nebercrackers Aphrodite. Well balanced bitch with a good outline, fine ears, good teeth, low set hocks. Moved well for a young one. 2 Pocklington's Nebercrackers Rosie Blue. Litter sister of one, like two peas in a pod, could change places at anytime, first just that little longer in the back. JB(1) 1 Walters & Mitchell's Tunman Topsy Turvy. Another one with a head to die for, carried on a lovely long neck, good bone structure, strong rear end that showed on the move, would have loved a little more weight on her. LB(4) 1 Davies' Honeymist Midnight Star, RCC. Well presented bitch coming into coat, good head, good outline on the table, did not lose her outline on the move. 2 Rainsbury's Sevray Repique. A well proportioned bitch with a good head, correct feet, short hocks, moved with drive. Well presented. 3 Butler's Yarbch Gorgeous Gabby. OB(6) 1 Shorrocks' Doehey Queen Of Hearts, CC. This one stood out from the others, perfect front, lovely size. Good quality head, low set hocks, just coming into coat, quality rear quarters that she used well, perfect outline on the move. 2 Davies' Honeymist Crazy Rhythm. Another quality bitch, deep flat ribcage, low hocks, good bone structure, correct clean teeth, presented perfectly, not a hair out of place as always from this kennel. 3 Owens' Bisbee Belle Inni. Best Breeder Bannister. Craig Richardson |
