Bedlington Terriers

Quite a varied entry & the breed seems to be getting taller. Let’s not forget the origins. Overall no major faults, dental hygiene needed on some.

PD (4,2a)

1 Ames’ Sharnor Faithful Falcon, very promising youngster, lovely balanced body, moved well, very settled. BP;

2 Brooks’ Doehey Heartstrings, deep blue coated boy, looked in need of more body definition which will come with maturity.

JD (1)

1 Jones’ Pengerrig Unique, in fine fettle, deep chested, rearend built for speed, lots of drive, moved around the ring effortlessly. RCC.

PGD (5,1)

1 Bouse’s Tredomen Dixie, workmanlike specimen, blue unadorned textured coat, masculine, well muscled physique;

2 Fisher’s Gnejnabay Solo Starboy at Gypcyan, lovely head, expressive, body lithe & supple, good topline, excellent tail carriage;

3 Hyde’s Gnejnabay Chokko Pops.

LD (4,1)

1 Walters & Mitchell’s Rathsrigg Millrace, well presented, balanced specimen, good to go over, good reach of neck, well muscled;

2 Owen’s Bisbee Beachcomber, so similar to 1, a fine specimen, small details made the placings as they were today;

3 T Dixie.

OD (5,1)

1 Kiernan’s Ch Bisbee Boy Wonder, well constructed, lovely head, neck flowing into well muscled body, toned & free moving. CC;

2 Jones’ Ch Pengerrig Iron Duke, pleasing outline, hands confirmed what the eye perceived, beautiful rich blue coat, tail carriage & setting good;

3 Walshaw’s Ch Janmark Blue Encounter.

PB (6,3)

1 Caines’ Just Asha at Burmington, dark coated liver with lighter accents developing, harsh texture. Very sparse leg hairs, maturity should improve. Movement light & positive, good body definition for a youngster, confident with ring presence;

2 Shorrock’s Doehey Queen Of Hearts, not fazed by her day in the ring, well handled & presented. Needs time to tighten up & develop;

3 McNally’s Aireview Cristal Blue.

JB (5)

1 Ames’ Sharnor Emerald Electra, very pleasing youngster, very feminine, correct size, depth of coat contrast good, moved with light step & confidence;

2 Kinns’ Burmington Truly Blue, dark blue coated girl with lighter hues starting to show, good construction, toned & purposeful, positive mover;

3 Garbutt’s Aireview Classic Print.

PGB (8,4)

1 Thompson’s Jetsway Absolut Bling, petite, well angulated, possessed lovely low hocks (something I found lacking in the breed). Movement would have been better at a quicker pace. Good outline;

2 O’Leary’s Cindercoat Solar Eclipse, good to go over, attractive, balanced feminine specimen, alert with confident ring presence;

3 Lacey’s Bowling Brook My Blue Heaven.

LB (9,1)

1 Owen’s Bisbee Belle Inni, in splendid condition both in body & coat, to the hands lithe & supple, good construction, movement free & flowing. RCC;

2 Walshaw’s Janmark Misty Horizons, quality girl with all the right attributes, very similar to 1. A little coercion to move but once going strutted her stuff;

3 Hyde’s Gnejnabay Zena of Bugibba.

OB (6,2)

1 Welsh’s Wudrusjuk Work Of Art, what a joy to go over this girl, a little treasure, correct size, very feminine, good bite, alert dark eye, toned body well structured, racy outline, sound mover, with a ‘look at me’ attitude. CC & BOB;

2 Bannister’s Miteymidgets Hawkers Cove, good specimen of the breed, well angulated, kept topline on the move, moved with speed & grace, enjoyed being in the ring;

3 Hyde’s Ch Gnejnabay Madam Dominica.
