BEDLINGTON JUDGE LKA 19
It was a pleasure to judge Bedlingtons at this lovely well run show. The entry was of good quality, bitches being superior to dogs on the whole. I found no cracked pads or mouth faults. Muscle tone varied, some in need of more regular exercise, presentation on the whole was good. Thank you to my efficient, courteous stewards. I was delighted to discover later I had awarded both my dog and bitch CC winners their third such awards.

1st : Smith & Prints : Tcheria Anton Tchekhov.
Nicely put together 10 month old youngster. Pale coat, well presented. Head of good length, well filled under eye with no cheekiness. Good bone and height to length. Movement was hard to judge as he kept his nose to the ground.

PGD :
1st : Rainsburys : Mollora Shock Wave.
Lovely dark blue coat. Super eye and expression with good dentition. Good depth of brisket and topline. Movement light and springy, just needs to tighten up a little.
2nd: Mitchell's : Bluesmurf Semper Paratus.
Larger dog than 1, strongly made with good bone. Reasonable coat and furnishings. Not the best topline but moved ok.
3rd : Poultneys : Travellerway's Josaih.
LD :
1st : Gillies : Rhicullen Rennie Mac.
A nicely proportioned pale blue dog, with good depth of brisket. Good length of neck leading to a head of decent proportions. Well angulated rear quarters. Moved out well. RCC.
: 2nd : Hewitt- Taylor's : Mollora Red Kite for Tobanie
Smaller well coated liver dog. Good muscle with nice proportions. Moved well just not quite the topline of 1 but much to like about him.

OD :
1st. : Middlebrooks Tcheria Tcharleston.
Blue dog in good coat. Lovely head of length, large teeth, velvety ears and gentle expression. Good angulations, legs and feet with no exaggeration. Moved well with purpose, keeping his topline. DCC.
: 2nd : Mcmanus' : L'end Show Mystery Uneverse (Imp Rus) JW Sh.CM Smaller pale blue dog in profuse cost. Long cast body, would prefer more length of leg. Moved ok.
GCD :
1st : Kinns : Kinnuva Dark Sleekster.
Super fit dark liver dog of nice size. Excellent dentition but would prefer a longer head to complete the picture. That said proportions were good and he moved with ease.
MPB :
1st : Bishops : Chaselyne About Thyme.
Really loved this shapely youngster of almost 8 months. Graceful and lithe, moving exceptionally well for one so young. Super head of good length with lovely sleepy expression. Will watch her progress with interest. Pleased to award her BP and RBCC, at what I was told later was her very first show!
PB :
1st : Mcnallys : Conekesheved Jingle Bells.
Another classy youngster of 9 months. Decent blue coat prepared beautifully. Good head length and dentition. Very elegant with deep brisket, nice length of loin and good angulations. Moved ok.
: 2nd : Jones' : Miteymidgets Little Hottie.
9 month old in good coloured blue coat. Smaller, lighter boned and not as mature as 1 but nicely put together none the less. Chest could be deeper but time is on her side.

Star of the day. Loved her size, proportions and movement. Deep brisket with good tuck up producing correct topline which she kept on the move. Movement light with a slight roll. Head of good length with large teeth, fine ears and correct eye shape. Not in the best of coats but forgave her that BCC and BOB.
:2nd : Owens : Bisbee Razzle Dazzle.
Another super young bitch with lovely proportions. Size and angulation, front and rear were good. Long head with lovely expression, silky topknot and profuse furnishings. Just felt she was a little unsure on the move.
