BEDLINGTON JUDGE SOUTH WALES 12

Bedlington Terriers

I felt that the overall quality of the dogs to be satisfactory & was very pleased with my principal winners.

JD

1 Brady & Carter’s Tcheria Shenanigans, this boy caught my eye as soon as he walked into the ring, in very good coat & colour. He made his handler work very hard as he wanted to play, but when he got his act together moved very well with drive. Good shape of head with dark eyes & well placed ears, good length of back, correct topline, good rear angulation, well muscled. RBD;

2 Graham’s Ruffsfurze Kazan, excellent head, good length of neck on well placed shoulders. More length of back than 1. Well muscled. Played up & would not settle. Not the movement of 1.

PGD

1 Bouse’s Tredomen Big Floyd, very different type of dog to 2, more the working type. Strong & in tip-top condition, good head & length of neck. Would have preferred a little more of him all round. Good movement;

2 Worrall’s Bluesmurf Black Magic, a big boy. Excellent head, good length of neck & shoulders. A tad long & would prefer more rear angulation. Unfortunately his front movement let him down & needs to tighten up.

OD

1 Jones’ Pengerrig Unique, very strong & well muscled dog, good size, excellent head, good length of neck, well placed shoulders with excellent front angulation, excellent depth of chest, good topline. Coat & colour both very good. Unfortunately due to an accident to his normal handler he was unsettled in his movement & did not perform as well in the ring here as in the past. BD;

2 Bouse’s Tredomen Dixie, extremely well muscled fit dog, much smaller than 1. Good front movement but did not move with drive.

JB

1 Graham’s Ruffsfurze Beren, stood but what a fabulous bitch. Excellent head, neck & shoulders, good length of upper arm placing her front legs in line with her withers. Fabulous length of back with good deep chest, everything in proportion, moved very well around the ring with drive, keeping her head carriage the whole time. I feel this girl has a very good future & will watch with interest. BOB.
