BEDLINGTON WELKS 11 Judge(s) MR M GENT DCC BISBEE BEACHCOMBER JW (MRS D G OWEN) BEDLINGTON TERRIER The changeable weather of the day, threatening rain and wet grass made us head for the wet weather rings. This didn't suit all dogs with echoing surfaces and one or two uneven areas in the ring. Generally, I was impressed with the improvements that had been made in the breed with the colour and texture of the coats and also movement since I last judged. There was a low turn out in the dog classes, however, the Dog CC winner was of superb quality. Congratulations to Mrs D. Owen. PD(2) 1 Bouse's Tredomen Big Floyd. Good type, nice size, lovely head and dark eye, good coat, young dog still to fully mature but did enough on the move. BP. 2 Brookes' Doehey Heartstrings. Bigger dog, more mature than first, strong head, nice coat with good density, depth of chest, not much between the two dogs. JD(1) 1 Ames' Sharnor Faithful Falcon. Good size dog looking very flashy, nice white furnishings with no product, good strong head, nice ears and placement, would have preferred slightly smaller tassels, well presented. PGD(3) 1 Jones' Pengerrig Unique. Good size masculine dog with good outline, dark eye, nice head, good coat, well balanced, good angulation, moved well and pushed hard for the reserve ticket. 2 Beesley's Gnejnabay Chokko Pops. Good sized liver dog, well balanced, good height to length, coat in good bloom with good colour at rear, drove well from the rear. 3 Bouse's Tredomen Dixie. LD(1) 1 Alders' Catchfraze Free N Eezzi. Good outline, nice length of body, good teeth, dark eye, strong head, good depth of chest and angulation. OD(3) 1 Owen's Bisbee Beachcomber JW. Liked this dog as soon as it came into the ring, and he didn't disappoint on the table, masculine dog, good outline, well balanced, strong head, good expression, well placed ears, good coat, good angulation, muscular and moved with ease, nicely presented and one I would take home, an easy winner on the day. DCC and BOB. 2 Walshaw's Ch Janmark Blue Encounter JW ShCM. Another strong, masculine dog, good head, well placed ears, length of neck into well placed shoulders, good front and depth of chest, coat of good colour and density. Res DCC. 3 Jones' Ch Pengerrig Iron Duke ShCM. PB(2) 1 Lacey's Bowlingbrook Trick Or Treat. A young bitch who didn't want to stand, however, on the floor, she relaxed and stood nicely showing her true outline, good proportions, well muscled, good angulation, good coat, dark eye, moved well. 2 Hewitt-Taylor's Tobanie Earth Song. A bigger bitch of substance, clean head, good expression, dark eye, good coat. JB(5) 1 Ames' Sharnor Emerald Electra. A sweet young bitch of good size, well balanced supporting a good outline, stunning colouring from white furnishing and dark coat, surprisingly well muscled for such a feminine bitch, moved well front and rear. 2 Walshaw's Janmark Justintime. Good length of head, strong jaw, length of neck into shoulders, good proportions length to height. 3 Winstanley's Catchfraze What A Calamity. PGB(7, 2) 1 Winstanley's Catchfraze Flirty Gertie.
