BORDER JUDGE SOUTHERN COUNTIES 10

Border Terriers

It was an honour to be asked to judge Border Terriers at the Southern Counties Canine Association Club, awarding CCs for the first time. A great entry, I thoroughly enjoyed my day & was very pleased with my main winners.

The overall quality was good, some heads & expressions were uncharacteristic of the breed. A head like that of an otter is the stamp of the breed.

MP (3)

1 Buckle & Flowers’ Bingo Bongo Hollywood Blues, very nice otterhead with keen expression, nice topline, well angulated, nice all over, good bones & good movement;

2 Girling’s Benattivo Stitch In Time, nice puppy, topline & movement must improve, very good coat;

3 Jenkins’ Bagderbeck Bronco.

P (5)

1 Spenser’s Cobstoneway River Magic, nice size, good head & expression, correct bite, very good front, neck & length of body, moves very well. Could have a little more temperament;
