BORDER JUDGE WELSH KC 17

Border T:
VD (1)

1. Spencer’s Cobstoneway River Magic. Very nice specimen to start the day off, 8 years old, outgoing and confident, good head with broad skull and dark eye, well bodied and able to span, nice hindquarters, coat in good order, moved well and held outline well on the move.

PD (3)

1. Atkinson’s Tojamatt Rhythm N’ Blues at Raedwulf. Nice size and shape but showing typical terrier attitude and not always helping his handler, liked head and shoulders, in good coat, presented very nice outline.

2. Ruth’s Bowencloud Busy Bee. Little longer cast than 1, but well bodied, good head with neat ear set, nice shoulders, would prefer a more steadier move to show the dog off to advantage.

3. Woollacot’s Tufterslodge Tea N Cake.

JD (4.1)

1. Guvercfin’s Baillisewell Glengyle at Gelebeheath. Very impressive youngster with lots to admire, strong muzzle developing, nice neck and shoulders, good length of body, racy hindquarters, very good coat, held topline on the move and looked very attractive when moving. Pressed hard for further honours.

2. Matthews’ Tojamatt Moriarty. Little more development of head required, nicely made rear end, good harsh dense coat, not really settling on the move.

3. Armstrong’s Lynsett Lewis.

ND (1)

1. Armstrong’s L Lewis. Top size, broad skull with dark eye, strong shoulders, moving a little loose in front.

GD (3.1)

1. Hughes & Kendrick’s Chatmos Bullet Tooth Tony. Nice outline with clean cut front, head of good proportions, well bodied yet spannable, not helping handler on the move but when moving correctly he moved true.

2. Read’s Roxambor Space Invader. Top size, head needs more development, little heavy in ears, in good coat.

PGD (7.1)

1. Winsley & Holmes’ Davmar Levi. Sound type but did all he could to try and throw his chances, not settling and not always using ears to advantage, but when he pulled himself together and focused on the task in hand a different dog emerged, I think this was partly due to the noisy environment.

2. Sharp’s Rhozzum Gwilym. Good headed type, dark well set eye, neat ears presenting nice expression, nicely boned throughout, moved out well.

3. Gardner’s Blewcourt Zeus.

LD (7.1)

1. Irving’s Dandyhow Galloping Gourmet. For me stood out in this class, very well balanced, sound and outgoing, lovely clean outline, well made shoulders, good body, super coat, moved very well Res DCC.

2. Jackson’s Clipstone Starshine. Another who excelled in coat, strong made throughout, good rear angulation producing good driving movement.

3. Hall & Ellis’ Brackenfell Ragamuffin.

OD (5)

1. Hall & Ellis’ Ch Brackenfell Bok To Bach. Well known Champion and fully deserving of his Title, one I have only previously judged in the Group were I placed him G1, and today had no reason to change my opinion, liked overall size and outline and outgoing temperament, nicely made head with strong muzzle, good length of neck, well made shoulders, well ribbed but still spannable, in good coat, ,moved with purpose. Dog CC and BOB.

2. Girling’s Benattivo Betfred. Nicely made type, good head and shoulders,, liked overall proportions, handled and moved to advantage.

3. Docwra’s Bandicoot Doc Martin.

MPB (3)

1. Service’s Marsirdan Jemima Puddle Duck. Attractive youngster of 8 mths who just made the class but settled well to show off her virtues, clean outline, head coming on well, spanned with ease as one would expect at this stage, coat still to finish, moved with confidence.

2. Sharp’s Rhozzum Whim. Head to finish but in correct proportions, a little playful at not always putting it all in, just needs time to mature and settle.

3. Phillips’ Nantcoch Field Skipper.

PB (4)

1. Horner’s Stineval Kordia. Super outgoing youngster, very feminine appearance, well balanced throughout, good head, clean straight front, body developing well, very good coat, moved sound. B Puppy.

2. Lowe & Miles’ Glebeheath Beau Belle. Unlucky to meet 1, liked head and neck, good size for age, coat coming on well.

3. Ruth’s Bowencloud The Bee Charmer.

JB (6.2)

1. Irving’s Dandyhow Heather Honey. Another very feminine type, nice overall size, played up a little but considered this just terrier spirit, coat in very good order, moved ok.

2. Baird’s Dowgri Demelza. Larger type throughout but in good proportions, nice head and neck, another who was shown in the best of coats, moved out well.

3. Parry’s Oakyard on Song.

GB (2.1)

1. Girling’s Benattivo Fire Flower. Stood alone but worthy winner, nicely proportioned head, narrow body of good length, nice topline with well set tail, held outline well on the move.

PGB (12.2)

1. Thomas’ Daluce Fools Gold. Not in the best of coats today but her positive virtues could not be denied, liked overall size and shape, very clean outline, well bodied and moved true.

2. Lorraine’s Raleniro New Rose. Niceley balanced bitch, good width of skull , well made body, not as positive on the move as 1.

3. Coleman’s Hartswelin She’s The One.

LB (10.1)

1. Baird’s Tojamatt Debutante For Dowgri. Very nice type and presented and handled well to show her merits, liked head and body proportions, well ribbed, nice angulated rear which produced good driving movement.

2. Hurst’s Mcbrock Chantilly Chateau Beckshire. Nice type and close decision, but preferred body proportions of 1, moved and shown well.

3. Moore’s Bardenfox Pussy galore.

OB (9.5)

1. Sansom’s Ch Tarkaswell Double Agent. Not hard to understand the Ch prefix in front of her name and fully deserving, liked outgoing temperament, size, shape and outline, very nice head with heat ears, , clean cut front, well made shoulders, good hindquarters, moved out with ease and style. Bitch CC.

2. Spencer’s Ploughdown Peresphone. Very nice head and expression, nice overall outline presenting attractive picture, well made body, moved well. Res BCC.

3. Pickering’s Picer Aimee Vilbert.
