BORDER JUDGE WELSH KC 19

I was honoured to be invited to judge the Welsh Kennel Cub Ch Show. The entry was excellent both in quality and quantity, It was a pleasure to go over such quality exhibits. Movement was variable and some exhibits moved ok coming an going but lacked drive.

VD (3)

1 Goddard’s Ch. Kghills King Of Swing At Awbrooksky. A good type of dog with pleasing head, nice expression, good front, keeping a good topline on the move. Shown in good coat, enjoying his day out and well handled.

2 Spencer’s Cobstoneway River Magic. Similar comments as first, but didn’t quite have the sparkle of winner.

3 Yeates’ Bristoc Rock The Boat At Bluebabel.

MPD (2)

1 Spafford’s Reedwater Doc Holllday By Dassett. Pleasing typical head, narrow front, nicely balanced throughout, correct topline, neat feet, moved well.

2 Lowe’s Brumborder Jump Ship To Rocklade. B/t with good jacket, size ok, strong muzzle and bite, narrow body which was easily spanned, neat feet with thick pads, just not as positive on the move as first.

PD (4)

1 Haughton’s Chorbeck Move To The Music. Lovely size, well put together and not overdone in any way, good mouth and jaw, narrow front, nice topline, a shade short of coat today, but he moved well to win the class.

2 McKay’s Achouffe McKay’s Fable. Looked good in profile, just a tad harder to span than winner, super tight coat and thick pelt, lovely head and expression, correct mouth. Moved ok.

3 Powries’ Chorbeck Strike A Pose.

JD (7, 1)

1 Bullen’s Blaisdon One Step Beyond To Fevstone. 11 month old g/t maturing nicely.
