BULL LEEDS 09 Judge: Mr M Young ENGLISH BULL JUDGE LEEDS 09 Bull Terriers It was a small but quality entry. PD (1) 1 Bentley’s Gracedieu Gladiator, r/w youngster who is almost a year old, shapely head with good mouth & well constructed throughout, adequate bone for size. Still very much a puppy & needs time to mature, was distracted by the wet grass & his movement was OK but slightly jaunty, I believe it was the first time both the dog & the handler had been in the show ring & their inexperience showed but nevertheless it was a credible effort. BP. JD (1) A. PG (0). LD (2,1) 1 Westwood’s Tulsadoom Abi Albon, powerful masculine white dog with brindle ears, strong filled packed head with keen expression, good eye & perfect mouth, this young dog has an abundance of bone & substance with good front, topline & powerful hindquarters, moved reasonably well on grass. Not a natural showman but his hander worked hard & successfully got the best out of him. BOB. OD (1) 1 Marsden’s Tulsadoom Get Em In At D Bar, big upstanding white with brindle ear, good well filled strong head with mouth fault, plenty of bone & substance, moved well in front & close behind. RBD. PB (1) & JB (1) A. PG (0). LB (3,1) 1 Kirk’s Kenocto Ruby Charm for Charrycas, classy br/w with elegant head & perfect mouth, well put together & good front, shoulders, topline, shapely body & ample bone & substance for her size, feminine bitch who moved well, in good condition & well handled. BB; 2 Pleasant’s Bullambi Gem of Bullsquad at Casodon, white with nice head & has a mouth fault. Good bone & substance, good front with strong quarters. Carrying a little too much weight, preferred the overall balance of 1. OB (3,1) 1 Holt’s Sherrywell Nuzzle Muzzle of Eiramsel, attractive white with brindle eye patches, good head, profile & mouth, good bone & substance with good front, topline & hindquarters, shapely bitch who when she settled moved reasonably well, in good condition. RBB; 2 Reeve’s Sunshine On A Rainy Day of Galbretti, smart r/w with an OK head & mouth fault, just lacked the shape & finish of 1. Nice short back & good hindquarters. Difficult to access her movement as she was generally unsettled. MARK YOUNG
