ENGLISH BULL JUDGE NAT DOG SHOW 09

Bull Terriers

MPD (0).

PD (3)

1 Walker & Clacher’s Odakotas Black Hawk, b/br, good head, perfect mouth, good mover, nice bone & substance. Feet could be tidier. Well handled. BP;

2 Goodwin’s Yungwood Causing Havoc at Ounsdale, solid brindle, good head, plenty of bone & substance. Good mover behind, bit loose & wide in front. Well handled;

3 Sheppard & Howe’s Ragnarok Balder at Polanca.

JD (5)

1 Probert’s Lamellar Love Me Do at Llanwenarth, stunning headed white dog, plentiful arc & downface, good neck & shoulders, plenty of substance, good legs & feet, nice ribcage, good backend. Unfortunately, I had to send this dog out of the ring twice to get rid of the excess chalk. The third time he came back the handler had done his best to get rid of it, an exceptional young dog whom otherwise deserved RCC;

2 Callan’s Javarke Kwik Fire at Penderin, white with red eye patch, beautiful turned & finished head. Bit unruly, mouth slightly wrong. Plenty of bone & substance, nice mover, good coat condition;

3 Hickey’s Great Gig In The Sky.

PGD (3)

1 Aherne’s Conreniam Dark Magician, tri, have watched this dog since he was a puppy & have always been impressed by him, tremendous head, ears right on top, small piercing eye, long turned & filled head, good fill up under the eye, perfect placement of teeth, strong underjaw, good shoulders & forehand, nice depth of chest, good legs, bone & feet, short powerful back, strong backend, good mover, well handled. CC;

2 Crossan’s Ceilteach Robbie Dubh of Crossgarley, tri, excellent head, good bone & substance, excellent front, very good mover, well handled;

3 Carrick’s Bullbrand Icey Glaze.

LD (5,1a)

1 Leesley’s Lydsyll’s The Untouchable, very nice white headed dog, packed & finished with good fill under the eye, good roman finish, good forehand & shoulders, good legs, bone & feet, strong hindquarters. When he settled down I could see his good movement. Put down in excellent condition, excellently handled;

2 Hall’s Cwmdulais Cyberman, br/w, good headed dog, plenty of bone & substance, moved OK, well handled;

3 Dobbin & Van Eck’s Buster Black Ears at Debully.

OD (3)

1 Roberts & Grieves’ Ch Teirwgwyn Son Of A Gun, r/w, gave this dog the puppy class the last time I judged him, big strong powerful dog who has obviously improved by the fact that he is now a ch, have admired him as a pup throughout his adulthood, has deserved every CC he has won. When I got my hands on him, he has lost that cleanness of head which has gone a bit wide & course & his mouth is slightly wrong. He has plenty of bone & substance, good feet, nice depth of chest, good ribcage, good strong backend. Moves OK in front, but is now moving close behind. Well handled;

2 Young’s Bullyview Screaming Eagle, white, good headed dog. Just falls away under the eye, plenty of bone & substance. When settled I could see his movement was OK. Put down in good condition, well handled;

3 Ley’s Fortifer’s Fiammetta.

MPB (1)

1 Heath & Morris’ Bluepoint Femme Fatale, white bitch, very much a baby, good head, perfect mouth, nice little mover, handled OK.

PB (4,1)

1 Martin & Hurst’s Yungwood Sweet Enchantment;

2 King’s Bobuddy Pearly Queen at Bullbrazen;

3 Buck’s Pamjodale Keltic Dream of Skjaldmarr.

JB (6,1)

1 Roff’s Bobuddy Enigma, lovely head, well turned & finished, perfect mouth, good feet. Could do with losing a little bit of weight. Good mover, well handled;

2 Tubb’s Elvroc Crazy Cracker at Gazannlou, br/w, very good head, excellent bone & substance, good mover, well handled;

3 Drapier’s Emred Zurie Par Albaeda.

PGB (11,2)

1 Leesley’s Bullyview Sheer Bliss at Lydsyll, white bitch, very good head, well turned & finished, well put together, excellent mover, quite expertly handled;

2 Blacker’s Sonatel Flashback at Crossguns, white bitch with black ear patch, lovely headed, well put together, excellent legs & feet, well handled, hard decision between 1 & 2;

3 William’s Cwmdulais If I Only Knew for Gwynsel.

LB (8)

1 Cox’s Coxgal Oiche Angel, super headed tri, beautifully turned & finished, lovely reach of neck, excellent forehand, shoulders, good legs, bone & substance, excellent ribcage, good topline, short back & backend, Moved up & down as if is she was on a track line. Beautiful condition, very calmly handled by an expert, probably one of the best bitches I have seen in a long time, certainly the best I’ve seen from this kennel, her title won’t be far away. CC & BOB;

2 Seward’s Padhen Precious Pearl, super bitch, fantastic turned & finished head, ears right on top, excellent eye, nice short back, good mover. The handling was OK but just needs a bit more practice & experience. Put down in lovely condition. RCC;

3 Mathison’s Bullyview Lady Madonna.

OB (3,2)

1 Cserfalvi-Young’s Ducassos Contrary Mary, white bitch, lovely head, perfect mouth, good bone & substance, nice mover. Just carrying too much weight. Well handled.
