MINIATURE BULL BIRMINGHAM NATIONAL 16 Judge: Mr Max King BEST OF BREED : 9431 CLARK, Mr & Mrs D & E & CLARK Miss V Grandopera Macchiato MINIATURE BULL JUDGE BIRMINGHAM NATIONAL 16 Bull Terrier (Miniature): PD (1) 1. Dodwell’s Alounka Hold Your Fire. 9.1/2 mths solidly built boy and hope he does not grow on any more, head developing nicely, kind eye, strong quarters, well bodied, just needs firmer control on the move. BP. JD (1) 1. Ratcliff’s Aurmaru Homeward Bound. Solid white dog, well filled head, nicely bodied with good spring of rib, tended to overstretch the rear which made him appear straight in stifle. A little erratic on the move. PGD (2) 1. Lambert’s Grandopera Didier Drogba of Caliber. Positive and typical virtues outweighed any less positive variations from Standard, atractively marked brindle dog of good shape and proportions, head of good shape with correct eyes and ears, nicely made front, body of good sort, nice rear angulation, overall picture presented good substance to size. Moved OK. Dog CC. 2. Todd’s Bullyon Bonzos Measure. Top size and well built boy, long head with good profile, strong neck, solid body, needs firmer movement. LD (3) 1. Whittaker & Whittaker’s Wengormick Pirate Pete. Solid and powerful boy with well filled head, good mouth, well laid shoulders, strong body, well boned throughout, moved well. 2. Solid white who deserves his status, very good head with well set ears, well developed body, good muscle and tone throughout, moved OK. Res DCC. 2. Phillips’ Bullyon Back to the Measure. One I liked and very close decision, liked overall proportions and shape, head of good type, positive mover. 3. Lambert & Peacher’s Lafenice Tamino of Caliber. VD (1) 1. Harrison’s Jenkir Thor. 7.1/2 years old with little signs of wear nd tear for age, firm and steady, excellent bone, good substance. PB (6.2) 1. Bennett & Pickering’s Quayardson Lady Grainger at Phunsize. Good size and shape, head coming on well, good length of back, tended to stand a little straight in stifle, carrying tail a little high. 2. Wright’s Hofstetter My Intimate. Handler had to work hard to show off virtues of this bitch, but did enough to warrant placing, nice overall shape. 3. Webb’s Winter Delight Jeannie in a Bottle. JB (4.1) Excellent class and I only wish I had three red cards to award. 1. McGregor’s Grandopera Mockingbird of Merlinden. Larger built than 1, but possesses many positive virtues, good head, correct mouth and nice ears, good clean front, well bodied, seemd not want to give it all on the move. 3.
