MINIATURE BULL BLACKPOOL 24 Judge: Mr Frank Dyson Many thanks to the Committee for the kind invitation, to exhibitors for their great support on my first set of tickets in MBT’s and to Gisela Duran, my excellent ring steward. Dog CC and BOB went to Barr & Novak’s Ch Entertainer Got A Hangover at Giffenbull, solid light red/brindle, rising 4 years, takes the eye and has great ring presence, strong filled head with good turn, well set ears, punishing expression, undershot but not badly so, straight front, tight feet, long neck through decent shoulder into correct backline, well made quarters, moved pretty well coming and close behind. JD 1 Martin’s Giffenbull Encore of Aribax, alot to like about this smart, cobby, solid dark brindle, 15mths, head well turned with good fill and finish, ears on top, keen expression, teeth just off, strong neck, reasonable shoulder with good breadth across back, straight front, would prefer more strength in pasterns, short and square, well made quarters though moved close behind. 1 Martin’s Giffenbull Encore of Aribax 2 Fodden’s Leyfinds Stormzy Star, substantial br/wh rising 2 yrs, strong headed, keen expression, misplaced canine, strong bone, shade long caste but with well made quarters and moved pretty well both ways when settled. PGD 1 Sinclair’s Frankenminibull Aran, 3½ yr cobby white, strong head but would prefer more turn and fill, good wide muzzle, inclining canine, decent shoulder, deep brisket, short coupled and well made quarters, movement a little erratic today. LD 1 English’s Badlesmere Bang to Rights, 2½ yr br/wh, alert and up on his toes, well turned head with good fill and finish, keen expression, scissor bite, decent shoulder, straight front, deep brisket, shade long caste, adequate quarters, moved pretty well when settled. 2 Fox’s Grandopera El Zorro, fwn/wh rising 2 yrs, well turned head, good ear set, keen expression, scissor bite, straight front, reasonable shoulder into correct backline, would prefer a little more rear angulation, moved well coming and close going, unfortunately only one testicle descended. OD 1 Barr & Novak’s Ch Entertainer Got A Hangover at Giffenbull, DCC & BOB 2 Hearne, Singleton & Catilina’s Ch Dofro Stormbreaker Warbonnet, smart bl/br/wh, rising 6yrs, great ring presence, well turned head with keen expression, good ear set, scissor bite, decent shoulder, standing square with straight front and neat feet, strong neck into correct backline and well made quarters, moved well coming but a little close going, RCC 3 Heard’s Kiltonthorpe Jonny Fox with Louwab, PB 1 Milner’s Thrydings Marcia’s Heart, 11mths br/wh, sweet baby with good profile, ear set and expression, scissor bite, correct canines, reasonable shoulder, straight front, shade long caste, adequate quarters, moved a little erratic but should improve with experience, BPIB. JB 1 Clark & Fox’s Topasbully Yaromira by Grandopera, smart br/wh, just out of puppy, head is nicely turned with good fill and finish, keen expression, scissor bite, decent shoulder placement, straight front and neat feet, long neck through to correct backline and well made at the rear, moved pretty well both ways, BJIB, CC & BOS 2 Barr’s Giffenbull La Vie En Rose, cobby 15mths br/wh, with good ring presence, well turned head, good ear set, keen expression, mouth fault, decent shoulder, straight front although a little down in pasterns, correct backline and well made quarters. 3 Thompson’s Oakfayre’s Whiplash Weasel YB 1 Vysotski & Malchanava’s Topasbully Yaroslava, br/wh, just out of puppy but showing good ring presence, well turned head with good fill and finish, keen expression, correct bite, good shoulder, straight front with neat feet, short coupled and well made quarters, tends to stand a little high at the rear, moved well coming and a little close going, RCC PGB 1 Whittaker’s Wengormick She’s a Madam, pretty br/wh, 15 mths, good profile and ear set, keen eye, slight fault to dentition, reasonable shoulder with straight front and tight feet, long neck through to correct backline, short coupled with adequate quarters, not really settled on the move today but that will improve. 2 Heard’s Leyfinds Taking Over Louwab, alot to like about this br/wh rising 2 yrs, well turned head with good width, inclining canine, decent shoulder, straight front, good bone, long neck into correct backline and well muscled quarters but would prefer a little more angulation, moved pretty well coming and close going. LB 1 Vysotski & Malchanava’s Topasbully Rostislava, cobby 3yr old br/wh, good profile to head, well set ears, scissor bite, perhaps a little soft in expression, reasonable shoulder, straight front, deep brisket, strong made with good bone and well muscled at the rear, moved pretty well both ways, just lacks a little sparkle but her make and shape carries her through. 2 Wilson, Wilson & Harrison’s Jenkir Artemis, quality br/wh just over 2yrs, catches the eye with her ring presence, always up on her toes, well turned head with good fill and finish, ears on top, scissor bite, reasonable shoulder with straight front and neat feet, long neck, slight dip behind withers and a shade long caste, well made quarters and moved pretty well both ways. 3 Woods’ Kiltonthorpe Midnight Sun OB 1 Emett, Thompson & Hughes’ Oakfayres Otterboom via Graymor, quality shines through this 15mths white with fawn head mark, sweeping profile, well set ears, keen expression, scissor bite, still immature in body but has the makings, decent shoulder, straight front, adequate bone, correct backline and well angulated at the rear, a little unsettled on the move but that will improve with experience. 2 Wilson & Harper’s Olympusbulys Athena, 3½ yrs old solid, cobby bl/br, well turned head, keen eye, strong neck, good bone, straight front, short coupled with well made quarters, moved petty well, just lacking a little ring presence today. 3 Sinclair’s Sh Ch Vandetta Caballero Canario VB 1 Jones’ Kaja-Dottie von Der Alten Veste, 7½ yrs white with ear and eye marks, really having an enjoyable time with her experienced young handler, gentle profile to head with good eye, well set ears, strong neck, straight front, short coupled with good rear angulation, BV Frank Dyson |
