MINIATURE BULL DARLINGTON 11 Judge: Mrs Melanie Vincent-Presland MINIATURE BULL JUDGE DARLINGTON 11 Min Bull Terriers Small entry & turn out as only to be expected with a breed that doesn’t have large entries with CCs on offer. My BOB & BP stayed for both groups & looked splendid, acquitted himself well & looked like a Mini next to the Standard Bull Terrier. PD (2) 1 Richardson’s Quayardson Sir Albus, b/br/w, 9 months, over the measure but still identifiable as a Mini, smashing head, excellent profile with depth & fill all through, perfect bite, ears bang on top, good neck length, correct shoulder placement & return of upper arm, well boned gun-barrelled front limbs, well knuckled feet, balanced body with correct topline, muscular thick thighs with stifle & hock definition to die for, moves out soundly fore & aft. To be critical would prefer a lower tail carriage but that is a personal preference. BOB & BP; 2 Bennett’s Quayardson Sir Alfred, littermate to 1 & same applies, but head a tad less filled & hind movement a little more exaggerated but nevertheless a quality dog all through. RBD. PGD (1) 1 Woods’ Prince Guvnor, smart tri, better off for size, reasonable head but lacking in underjaw, good mouth, ears bang on top, cobby body. A little upright in shoulder & would prefer a tad more bend of stifle behind. Good tail carriage, moves out lovely but unable to compete with the pups. OD (1) A. PB & PGB (0). OB (1) A.
