MINIATURE BULL JUDGE DARLINGTON 23

I had looked forward to this appointment for a long time, I love the breed for their looks and temperament. Numerically disappointing but I found plenty to like in my winners, judging the junior bitch class full of quality was a great pleasure. I found the young DCC winner exciting for his quality and the BOB winner a very classy bitch, thank you for the pleasure of going over your dogs, a highlight for me. Many thanks to my stewards Donald Panton and Steve Parker.

1. Fodden’s Leyfinds Stormzy Star. Exciting young dog who took my eye immediately, 16 months, brindle/white, at his first show and making it a hard job for handler and judge but he is full of quality with a beautiful head and eye, correct dentition and is well made, scored in head and movement here and in the challenge I preferred his balance to take the DCC.

2. Boyne’s Boannadeen Boca Junior (AI). 13 months, brindle, very well schooled, a shade smaller than the winner, I preferred the head and expression of the winner, very good ribcage and top-line, a touch wide in front.

PGD 1(0)

1. Boyne’s Tiny Amigo’s Night King (imp NOR). 2 year old brindle of standard size and with good outline, he could have just a little more leg for perfect balance, shown in hard condition, just enough bone, good feet, carried himself well, good length of head but marred by a dentition fault.

OD 2(0)

1. Hearne/Singleton’s Ch. Dofro Stormbreaker Warbonnet (AI). 5 year old standard size and balanced with plenty of substance for his size, good head and dentition, needs a little more angulation in rear but he is sound and jaunty on the move, a steady showman, in the challenge the head and outline of the winner had the edge for me, RDCC.

2. Clark/Fox’s Danbull Dainty Diablo at Grandopera. 2 year old taller dog with beautiful head and eye and superb chest, not yet fully mature in body and when he finishes then he will look more compact, good mover, he looked the teenager today.

PB 1(0)

1 Nicholson’s Official Statement from Fitbull (imp POL). 11 months, brindle/white, she is standard size but needs a little more leg to balance her, long head and correct dentition, good eye, she was at her first show and overawed by the noise but was gaining in confidence as the proceedings progressed, BP.

Excellent class for depth of quality, I liked all four of them, all typy, sound and quality bitches.

1. Bownes’ Jenkir Hebe. Beautiful bitch with long well turned head with strength and femininity, lovely neck and shoulder and very good ribs and quarters, sound movement with long stride, in superb condition, I would prefer a slightly smaller eye for perfection but she is a top class bitch, an object lesson in presentation and condition, a pleasure to award her the RBCC, should do well.

2. Heard’s Leyfinds Taking Over Louwab. 15 months, beautifully balanced with a strong yet feminine head, I liked her ribcage and quarters, low set tail, very good rear, needs a little more finish in chest and this showed in her front movement.

3. Wilson’s Jenkir Artemis. PGB 3(0) 1. Bownes’ Jenkir Hebe. Repeat 1st in

JB. 2.

1 Jowers’ Topasbully Velislava at Clansmann. 2 year old tricolour bitch with a lot of substance and good movement, her ears are a little wide set which detract from her head, good eye, very good bone and chest, carries a firm top-line.

2. Heard’s Louwab Under The Fog.

LB 3(1)

1. Thompson’s Oakfayre’s Empress Eternal JW. 19 months, brindle/white, not yet fully mature in body and can drop into her frame as she looks a little leggy and her front action could be firmer, scored in head and dentition to win this.

2. Wilson’s Olympusbulys Athena. 2 years, tricolour, more mature in the body and has good balance, good length of head, her eye could be a little smaller, good rear and top-line, her front action is a touch wide, close decision.

OB 4(0)

1. Wylie’s Extravert One Stop at Transcend (imp SVK). 3 year old brindle/white, stood out here for balance, head and outline, very good head shape, well filled with good eye shape, good rib and chest, uses her quarters well, her front action could be tidier but she is very classy, BCC & BOB.

2. Boyne’s Tiny Amigo’s My Precious at Boannadeen (imp NOR). 4 year old brindle/white who is a little short on the leg for balance but she moved soundly, I would prefer a little more refinement in head for a bitch and with a little more length in front of the eyes but her dentition is correct, she has a lovely eye and these qualities merited this place for me.

3. Marshallsay’s Ch. Risibully Girls On Film with Fergustaff JW.
