MINIATURE BULL JUDGE EAST OF ENGLAND 17
Puppy Dog 1
1. Robb’s Bullysoul Condition Red, solid brindle compact and packed with power, substance and quality. Good strong masculine head, good mouth with strong even teeth. Good eye placement and lovely keen expression. Sound construction throughout, good spring of rib and short coupled, strong pasterns and good tight feet. In hard gleaming condition, moved soundly with the desired jauntiness, one to watch for CC & BOB.
Post Graduate Dog 2
1. Price,s Thrydings Longshanks, brindle/white in excellent condition. Good front, well developed hindquarters and good bend of stifle. Correct eyes and expression, mouth unfortunately incorrect, head could have been stronger.
2. Ratcliff’s Aumaru Homeward Bound, white dog who would have preferred to be homeward bound, reluctant on the move and did not make the most of himself. Not as short coupled as winner, mouth could have been better but of more concern was his walking on the outer edges of his front feet.
Limit Dog 5 (3 abs)
1. Lambert & Peacher’s Lafenice Tamino of Caliber, brindle/white 5 year old dog powerfully built, good bone but carrying a tad too much weight which detrimentally affected his topline. Powerful head, good mouth. Could have used his hindquarters more to advantage.
2. Preddy’s Shacals Diamond in the Ruff, smart young brindle/white dog in good hard condition. Not as heavily boned as winner, consequently head not as masculine. Moved well enough. His mouth was his downfall.
Open Dog 5 (2 abs)
1. O’Neill’s Bullyon Redefining Measure with Kholander, red/white quality dog well balanced if rather up on the leg. Sound construction throughout. Good hard condition. Good head, eye and expression which would be accentuated by a better ear set. Best mover in class. Res CC.
2. Cirtica’s Timewilltell Franky’s Demidream J Ch, white elegant dog on the big side but well balanced, soundly made but would have preferred heavier bone throughout. Movement needs improvement.
3. Cox’s Ir Ch Coxgall Lord Monty, white dog more pleasing size, good condition. Rather disappointing in head. Shelly front feet which did not help his movement.
Puppy Bitch 4
1. Newberry’s Ukusa Lil’ Daredevil, quality eye-catching young black brindle/white bitch. Good head and reach of neck, balanced throughout with femininity and substance. Moved easily, one to watch for, Res CC.
2. Twyman’s Laronbelle’s Labrynth, black/white quality bitch, slightly longer cast than winner but balanced throughout. Feminine head with good profile. Slack in pastern at present which detracted from her movement.
3. Kettleborough’s Bullysoul Here I Go Again, brindle/white bitch soundly made and balanced, but big enough certainly does not need to grow on. Head could have been stronger. Moved soundly.
Junior Bitch 3
1. Dance & Llewellyn’s Decadance Destinee Bullypins, black brindle/white bitch, feminine head with good ear carriage but bold eye marred her expression. In good condition with gleaming coat. Moved well enough but could be shorter coupled to balance.
2. Price’s Iringostyle Art of Perfection, red/white bitch, a tad leggy at present and not in her best jacket. Good profile to head but mouth not correct and front feet need to tighten.
3. Preddy’s Shacals Foxy Lady, red/white quality bitch, well balanced, correctly made in gleaming condition, lovely size had everything going for her until I checked her mouth – such a pity.
Limit Bitch 3 (abs 2)
1. Bennet & Pickering’s Quayardson Lady Grainger at Phunsize, brindle/white bitch with good head, good mouth, correct eye and expression. Soundly made and well balanced. Movement could be better behind.
Open Bitch 3
1. Cox’s Ir Ch Spitewinter Mentobe, quality white bitch with tri eye patches. Lovely size, good strong well filled head, good bone and substance, soundly made with big ribs, short coupled, powerful hindquarters engaged to give drive on easy movement. CC
2. Richardson’s Quayardson Lady Willow, white quality bitch, again lovely size but not quite the profile of winner nor the fill, but soundly made and moved accordingly.
3. Newberry’s Ukusa Maleficent – removed before I had time to write any notes!
